Maxtek 7mm Slim Black Double CD/DVD Case, 100 Pieces Pack.

According to my database, we have 3,250 DVDs in our collection. The 1/2 inch wide DVD cases take up too much space. We started out replacing old broken 1/2 inch DVD cases with Maxtek 0.7mm single DVD cases. A bit of comparison shopping and found that the Maxtek 0.7mm double DVD cases were often available for the same price, sometimes less, sometimes very little more. We've make a conscious decision to replace all of our 1/2 inch DVD cases, if they have only 1 or 2 DVDs, with Maxtek 0.7mm double DVD cases. Amazon tells me that I've purchased 5 cases of 100, and I'm back to order another case of 100, today.So Yeah, we like them, a lot!

work great only concern is the plastic cover is a little flimsy ,don't know how many times you can open till the plastic will tear. I have one that is already starting to split

This is an average product - so it is good and bad. I would recommend it to people if they fully understand what these cases do and do not do. I bought these cases to save space and put all my DVDs into them. So, my project is a home project aimed at space saving. For me, these work for that purpose.The price is good and the quality is passable.I know 3 issues with this product. First, if the inserted artwork is too thick, such as the old 1980s and 1990s cardboard DVD cases, the thin display plastic begins to pull on the DVD case itself. Of course, this is not a deal breaker because someone can always try to print off the DVD artwork. So, this may not entirely be the intended use of the product.Second, on some cases, the DVD holders inside protrude out. That means when you put 2 DVDs in, the are likely touching on the inside. This is not an issue for single-sided DVDs. But, for double sided DVDs, this can encourage scratching.Third, if you value little extras, like DVD booklets or DVD chapter pages, that come with DVDs, there is no room for them in these thin cases. So, if you are like me and wanting to save space but you value these things (which I do not) then this product would not be for you.

Less sturdy than what I have ordered before but does the job. One of the storage cases was cracked for banded by cellophane and shipped that way. At the price did not expect boxed and protected and got what I paid for and it works fine and have extras if I need them if any other slim cases break for I have over 2,400 and in wire racks on a rolling homemade platform for ease of storage for all my dvd movies over many, many years. I take out of the wide and thick cases and cut the cover off of each one. I then label with a code each and put on the small sticker on each disc and storage case and have room for 2 per case which means 2 storage cases equals 4 movies in each 2 storage disc slot. They are movies I bought over the years for some collect stamps and mine is movies. This is just to let you know what they can be used for and save on space at the same time. Can do the same thing with X-box, Playstation, Gamecube, et for games which protects them and storing is a lot easier.

I have used the single, double, triple and quad versions of these for years and still do. Every now and then, you may run across one or two which is cracked inside the box of 100 and doesn't close properly but that is pretty normal since they are pretty light cases. It has never become a problem and we deal with hundreds of these. Definitely continue to use these.

I love buying tv series on DVD/Blu-ray but to save money a lot of companies pack the disk in stacks so they can spend less on packaging. I have bought quite a few cases like these over the years to redo my seasons so the disks are not stacked. This is the best quality cases I have gotten so far. Other ones I have bought over the years from other brands have always felt a bit flimsy and always a few with damage when they arrive. This brand the cases are more sturdy and not a single broken or cracked case in the box.

I had a lot of movies that didn't have cases. Didn't need as many as I ordered but I kept them all just in case. I love the fact that I can finally put my sequels and franchises together!

Wew had more than 200 older DVD's that we had foolishly put into "Disc Book Binders", and disposed of the original DVD case & covers. The "Books were inconvenient and no one wanted to go looking thru them to find older movieso when we expanded the DVD & BluRay cabinet, we ordered these cases to "repackage" the older DVD's. It has been a project finding, downloading and printing the original DVD cover art to put on the outside of these new movie case but they are perfect for it, and its nice having the cases in a cabinet again the can be easily scanned to find a desired movie.

Good Product, it came earlier than expected. I needed to down size for storage and my friend suggested getting the slimmer cases, great idea. The only work you have to do if you're keeping the paper jacket, is to cut it down a little. It's honestly a good product, none came damaged either. I also like that I can fit 2 DVDs in it as well.
