Pizza Pig (Step into Reading) Paperback – February 27, 2018

Enjoyable for me, the adult!, too. :) Clever rhymes and cute pictures. Good reading practice for my 5 y.o.

My 5 year old loves it

My reluctant reader read this the whole way through. It's really funny and creative with lots of different animals which, I find, is always a hit, and ends with a nice message about kindness. The silliness of the text and photos hit just the right note. This was a home run, we'll be reading this one over and over again.

This book is a wonderful book for new readers. It is a high interest book that contains humor and a good message. My grandson who is a reluctant reader enjoyed this book and has read it several times. Book contains word families, sight vocabulary, and great picture clues.

My kids love this book! It is an all-time favorite here.

The story was cute, but it kinda dragged halfway through and my kids got bored. It is just a little long for their liking.

This is the one that my 4 and 7-year old nephews can agree on, always. The 7-year old can read it, and they both love the humor, artwork, and sentiment: they "get" the turtle's need for friendship. They love the crazy "pie" toppings that correspond with the animals. Enough fun detail in the artwork to delay fast page-turning, but not so much detail as to be a distraction from the story. It's the perfect length with a perfect word-to-page balance. A favorite for me, too!

Our children love this book so much; this is actually our second time purchasing it. Our last one was read and lived until it fell apart.
