Tomlyn Immune Support Daily L-Lysine Supplement, Fish-Flavored Lysine Powder for Cats and Kittens, 3.5oz

In 2021 I brought home a new kitten. After only a few months he got very sick. I found out he had the herpes virus. I didn't even know they had sent his blood work out so, my other two cats were exposed. Every morning, I mix one scoop of L-lysine in each of my cats wet food. They never complain, always eat up, and so far my herpes cat has stayed healthy. I won't use any other product. One tiny scoop is enough for each of my adult cats.

I received my order quickly. I couldn't find the other immune supplement that i ordered last time so I decided to go with this one. My cat has FIV. To my surprised this immune supplement worked on the very first day. The last supplement i had used took a week to start to work for my poor boy. So I am very pleased with my choice to go with this. My boy loves the flavor, gives him a nice soft shiny coat as well. Helps with his eyes, nose, his breathing and anything else that helps him with. It is a white power and has a spoon that comes with it. The size of the jar is pretty decent size. He gets it every morning in his food. I definitely recommend this!

My 7 yr old female cat suffers from gingivitis/stomatitis syndrome. Had all but lower fangs removed 3 years ago. Helped a lot but still has flare-ups 2-3 times per year (treated with prednisolone). Steroid very effective, but gradually frequency of flare-ups is increasing (worry about diabetes). So, am trying any and all strategies to prevent or reduce frequncy of flare-ups. Read somewhere a few cat owners claim lysine helped. (Counter intuitive to boost immune system since most Vets think malady is autoimmune disorder).L-lysine is easy to administer and cat seems to like it, and (maybe) has more vim and vigore - hard to know such things about cats. Dose is fairly small so container should last about 2 months. Using now for 3 weeks, but wont know if effective unless cat goes about 3 months without flare-up. Therefore, 3 stars now for perking up my cat, easy admin, cat likes, and affordable. If no flare-ups for next 3 months - then 5 stars for sure. ( I WILL update this review at that time)Update (March 12th) --------------------Cat did have another flare-up back in December about 3 weeks after I started her on L-lysine, but by then she really liked the stuff and I already had it, so continued the recommeded daily dose. Also restarted her with prednisone (steroid), but at a significantly lower dose (about 1/5th the usual) and only every other day. Now, it's been just over two months without another flare-up. So, maybe this low dossage would always have worked, or maybe the L-lysine is helping after all. I don't know, and after 5 years with this oral inflamation problem, I don't care. Going back to my Vet this week for more of the steroid and will ask about odds that current low dossage will avoid diabetes. But, either way will now continue with the steroid/lysine combo.

This really helps my cat who has sneezes and has runny eyes. It's easy to give. I just lightly mix it in a little wet food. Great product!

I adopted 2 kittens who were barn cats and very sick. Both had upper respiratory problems; watery eyes, sneezing with tons of mucus discharge, severe congestion. One of the kittens was much worse than the other. We started with various drugs from the vet, which were very invasive but did improve the condition of one of the kittens (Carlos). The other kitten (Nacho) did not improve much. We began using immune support supplements (Viralys, Pet Honesty) which further improved the condition of Carlos but not Nacho. This went on for almost 3 years.I started using Tomlyn immune support 4 months ago, and saw less sneezing from Nacho. His demeanor and activity has improved, revealing a playful, affectionate, happy cat. Incredibly, he has totally stopped sneezing, his eyes look great and he is a beautiful, healthy cat.I can’t thank you enough for, or recommend highly enough, this product!

Works great on cats born with herpes virus and has no taste. It dissolves quickly in food and my super picky cat is easy to medicate with this product.
