I am very heavy at the moment and needed a brace and was unsuccessful at getting one that actually fit right, was comfortable, WORKED the way it was supposed too and amazing quality. This brace is the complete package!! It works and is extremely helpful. I am a Hairstylist and I am on my feet for 8-12 hours straight and it would not be possible if not for this brace. I am also happy to add that this company is all about quality, customer service and customer satisfaction. After I received my brace I received an email making sure I was happy with it and letting me know if I had any questions, comments or anything to respond to the email. I let them know that the brace I received unfortunately, had a piece that broke off and I asked if I could get a replacement piece just so I could loop the Velcro through. They responded instantly just asking for a picture of what I was talking about so they could have it for insurance purposes and that they would send me out a whole new brace instantly. I sent back the picture and again said that I just needed a loop piece and I could use the one I had. Within 2-3 days at the most my whole new brace came in and it is amazing!! They didn’t even want the broken brace back. I am extremely grateful and satisfied beyond belief. It’s not easy being overweight and it’s even less easy to find a product that works when you are overweight. Thank you BraceAbility! Everything was and is perfect!

This item was purchased for my wife. She has arthritis in both knees, and it is very painful for her. It's hard for her to go about life, as normal. I ordered this brace for her, so her left knee could heal. That is the one that causes her the most problems. She could barely bend it, before receiving the brace. Since she has gotten it, she has used it a few times. Her knee is bendable now, and she is not in as much pain. I am giving this brace 5 stars. The only thing she really saw a bit of a problem with, is the upper strap. It kept sliding up and down on the material of the brace. Very comfortable though. And very sturdy. The material is very soft, and leaves no uncomfortable feeling on the skin. When first putting it on, she put it on backwards. The inserted hole, in the material goes on the back of the leg, and the velcro goes around the knee. All and all, we are very satisfied with this brace. Will definitely order others, if needed.

Bought a xxl. Looks more like a medium

This seems like a decent product but the sizing chart is not accurate. I noticed on another version of this product, same brand, they have a note saying they had updated the sizing chart due to customer feedback. I measured with a flexible measuring tape that is specifically designed to measure circumference (Myotape). I was surprised that I needed a 6XL according to their chart when the rest of me needs a 3XL but whatever, big sizes are not that standardized ... but when it arrived it was far too large. If you are going to buy this and you are measuring, pull the tape as tight as you can and then go one size down. I will say that when I did it up very tightly (well beyond the velcro for the neoprene layer) and cinched up the straps super tight, it did seem to provide some help for my MCL injury.

Initially this fit great and gave great support. However the more I use it, the more it's stretching out of shape. Now I have to wrap it overlapping the sleeve to where there's no longer a knee hole. The adjustable straps are keeping it in place most of the time. But by supper time it's sliding down my leg. Walking any distance isn't possible while wearing it.

I love this brace! I have severe osteoarthritis & need a knee replacement on my right knee, but can't afford it right now. I bought this brace to help support my knee until such time I can. I love the front closure - it's so easy to put on, and in addition affords you the ability to wear the brace over your jeans if you want to, rather than under them. In just two days of wearing the brace during the day, my pain level has noticeably decreased. What a surprise! I believe it's because the overall support keeps me from getting the many tiny injuries I usually get daily while stepping a little bit wrong, taking the stairs a bit too heavily, and walking on the uneven ground of my farm. The metal hinges still my knee to bend easily as well. I also like the opening behind the knee. It allows bending without the horrible bunching that sleeve style braces have. My medical insurance doesn't cover durable medical equipment, so I have tried many different braces from local stores and pharmacies in the past. None of them carry the larger size I need, and none of them had the wrap around front closure style. In addition, their prices were in the $30 range. Alot to pay for poor fit and design!I measured wrong (used 6" from the center of the patella rather than 3") and so the 3x is a little smaller than I'd like, but it's still very useable. Next order, I'll get the 4x so I have some extra room. This was in no way the fault of the seller, and I like the brace way too much to return it for a larger size, lol. Last week, my husband badly injured his knee stepping in a hole he didn't see, so he tried on my brace on and he also loves it. We're brace sharing for the time being, but once I order the 4x, I'll be giving him the 3x as his own. I found no problems with the materials, stitching or velcro whatsoever, and find the entire brace to be of great quality and design at a fair price. What more could anyone ask??

I may have been expecting something unrealistic with this. My Dad, 95, is only semi-mobile, using a walker but probably remaining seated 90% of his day. He has arthritis and has lost most of the cartilage in his knee, so I hoped this would provide support. Unfortunately, although I checked the measurements carefully, it doesn't fit properly. If I put it on him the way it's designed to be worn, it's ok when he's standing, although it tends to slip down. When he sits, though, it is too tight on top. The hinge does support his knee and prevent it from bending incorrectly.
