Great price
This cross bow pistol is awesome, fun to shoot in the back yard and hit soda cans and stuff. Only slight problem was stringing the bow what I did was, I used a table chair put an old shirt on the legs and the a pillow or something to put on your chest and push and pull and it’s on. But other than the stringing issue its a great buy.

Mostly good
A really neat budget crossbow for the price. The frame and setup are all very well built and good quality. Shots are powerful and accurate. Very impressed with the overall build quality. An instruction manual would definitely help. Only the string did not live up to the expectation after some usage. A+ effort on the seller’s part to resolve the issue. Would recommend!

Accurate and powerful
The seller doesn’t include instructions. You are on your on. That aside the crossbow is very powerful and accurate. Much more powerful than i imagined

Great crossbow
This is a great little crossbow. Don’t let the size fool you. At 20 yards it will sing the bolts 4ins into the target. Definitely worth the money.

Some grievances, but it's enjoyably accurate.
The pictures on the box don't match the item 100%. Overall, the design is the same, but there are subtle differences such as different styled nocks, hardware pieces, and missing graphics on the bow, and the addition of a skull & crossbone logo above the pistol grip. These differences can make one wonder if it is a knock off. There is no manufacturer address or website listed on the box. Shows accessories that are sold separately, but where to get them is a mystery. "Handcrafted in China", leading one to once again wonder if this is a knock off. Assembly or instruction manual was NOT included. Bolt (dart) retainer piece broke after about 10 shots. This is not the section that holds the bolt in place; it's the section that prevents the bolt from being placed too far back. Now, I have to insert the bolt and visually make sure it isn't seated too far back. If it does set too far back, the bolt will just pop out about a foot and fall to the ground after pulling the trigger. Then, the rear sight mount became loose after about 20 shots, prompting removal of site/mount to tighten screw. Now, it needs re-sighted. Can't find out if broken bolt (dart) retainer is available as replacement part. Self-cocking feature is a bit clumsy to operate. Forward hand grip, should have been designed as a pistol grip... the one on this is kind of awkward, but it's ok. The rear stock could've been made a couple inches longer, but the one on this is ok. Some bolt (dart) shafts remained in the target, with the plastic fins coming off when pulled from target... the fins are glued into the bolt shaft. It was enjoyably accurate at 52 feet, shooting into an 18" x 18" field point archery target. Every shot did hit the target. Some of the groups were fairly tight. Penetration of the bolts into the target were about 4 to 5 inches deep. Overall, it seems to be good. I don't know how it will stand up to heavy usage. Recommend checking tightness of hardware before each use. I would have given 4 stars, but because there was no manual included, and because the bolt retainer part broke after only 10 shots, and the difficulty in finding where to buy replacement parts and accessories, I'm giving 3 stars. It's ok. UPDATE: I was able to exchange the crossbow for another. The part that broke on the first one was not only the piece that prevents the bolt (dart) from being placed too far back, but also was part of the safety mechanism. The safety on the replacement crossbow seems to function better than the first. After putting the replacement crossbow together, I shot at an 8‐½" x 11" paper target attached to an 18" x 18" field point archery target to sight it in. At 52 feet, all shots hit the target, and all of them were into the 8‐½" x 11" paper. A few tight groups. Enjoyable. At 25 feet, accuracy was outstanding, and so was it's power. Some of the bolts (darts) were 6 inches (nearly the whole bolt) into the target. I shot it about 60 times in a one hour period. Seems to have held up. The one downside that remains is replacement parts apparently are unavailable.

"fun factor per dollar" is through the roof
Took about 10-12 shots to sight it in, mostly because I'd just put it together. Comes with iron sights so if you'll want a tri-dot or something that'll be a separate purchase. (don't mind the cardboard in the pics I've sighted a bunch of stuff in on that). ANYWAY this thing is *plenty* accurate as you can see from the pics. Also I've got a wooden board behind 3"-4" of cardboard in these photos because otherwise the bolts will bury themselves in it. Definitely suitable for small game. Hits hard and is clearly accurate even without optic "cheat mode" upgrades. Easy to cock, easy to load. Great purchase. *EDIT* If you're the handyman type and have tools laying around I used a couple of trigger-clamps (c clamps-ish) to hold it while I strung the bow while putting it together. I'd noticed several other reviews saying that part was difficult, so if you have a couple clamps that are long enough laying around it makes stringing this a breeze.

Good Value
Tremendous value for the money. Little difficult getting the bow strung. Once that was done I absolutely love this. Small easy to use. In a pinch such a device could be the difference between survival and starvation. And it is great for target practice.

Hurumf
OK , I get it that this thing isn't a Rubik's Cube , but with 8 total pieces it should still contain instructions , hence the 4 stars . The instructions if anything should help to properly string the bow . Forget YouTube as far as any videos are concerned because I found a wordless video on one persons experience on how to string it in stocking feet . Don't get me wrong , that method will work as long as you aren't old or have bad hands , or both , which I am & do . So in an attempt not to be awarded with a Darwin award I mounted the bow stock in a vise vertically & used a ratchet strap around both sides/ends of the limb down around the pistol grip away we went . EUREKA , it works . since I'm reviewing this before shooting it , I'll follow up later . All I can say is this is a small & mighty looking/built $69.99 Amazon sold product with count em , 3 practice tipped aluminum shaft plastic fin capable bolts . All I can say now is Squirrels , HOA be damned , BEWARE . faux William Tell is here . OH & the butt stock is extendable if'n that really matters .
