My experience...
The table has a terrible manual. It has the incorrect diagrams and doesn't give enough details, such as which way round certain boards have to be. Moreover, the stickers on the boards were incorrect, eg 9 was 6 and 4 was 5. Overall, the table itself is good and looks good. It has also helped me with keeping my room tidy.

Very poor quality. Avoid like the plague.
***I have given this 1-star simply because I cannot give it zero*** Without doubt, the worst piece of furniture I have ever assembled. It’s hard to know where to start. The quality of the materials was shocking. The boards are made of a very loose pack chip board. One of the boards split in two, as I tried to drive in a screw (with a hand screwdriver, not electric). This is partly because of the poor quality chip board but also because there are no pilot holes for the screws. After this first mishap, I decided to drill my own pilot holes for the rest of the boards. The screws are so cheap that they snap while trying to screw them in (after two broke, I used my own screws). The guide holes for the keyboard tray mountings are in the wrong place (best part of 5 cm out) so there was no way the tray would fit. I drilled my own holes again. The holes for the handles, in one of the drawer fronts, were not aligned correctly, so I could not fit the handles. Had to recut the holes. The aluminum supports for the desk top are such low grade, I do not expect them to last. And they are so roughly cut, they have burrs all around and they are not the same length. I had to file one of them down. The lugs for the fixings are so poor, one of them snapped. Fortunately I have replacements. The runners for the drawers are badly assembled. There is no way to get a good mounting point at both ends of the runner. The keyboard tray mountings are very short. There is not enough space to fit a keyboard, with the riser clips down. This was not an expensive desk, but it was also far from the cheapest. For the money, I would have expected much more. The veneer is very cheap. Sharp on some corners. Chipped / broken in places. Even the packaging it was delivered in was very poor quality and provided little protection. In all, a very, very cheap piece of trash. By far the worst piece of furniture I have ever come across. I shall be impressed if it lasts a year. Please do yourself a favour and look elsewhere.

Sturdy but useless instructions
These instructions are not easy to follow. The brackets for the sliding keyboard drawer needs to be in the opposite L direction to what the instructions say so that they can hold the sliding table. The sliding runners also need to be in opposite to the arrows shown. The back board that connects the two sections is weak and not very secure, even with the desk top on. There are chips on most corners, luckily most hidden. The drawers don’t sit right on the runners and the large drawer falls off the rail, despite it all being done right and secure. We even put extra screws in! There are no pilot holes for the feet, and the instructions don’t tell you which way round the bottom boards need to be. The gap where you can sit is only 54cm which is ok, unless you have a chair that is wider.

Very difficult to assemble
The finished desk is actually very sturdy. However the build process was far from simple. I've built loads of flat pack items, and this was by far the worst, as the instructions were wrong, and in some cases, you needed a magnifying glass to see some of them For example - Items 8 & 10 were either wrongly labelled, or the instructions were wrong - We were missing 2 dowels and 1 screw (luckily I have spares from previous builds) - The fixing for the keyboard draw shows they face outwards (magnifying glass was required to confirm), but actually you need to face them inwards. This you only find out when trying to fit the keyboard draw, which is the last thing to fit. So you then have to take the whole top apart again to make this change.

Who approved these instructions?!
I'm giving this 2 starts simply because it's a decent, solid desk for the price, but other reviews are correct that the instructions are appalling! Mine didn't actually have the courtesy to come with any instructions, but fortunately (or maybe not) it was easy to find them online. But oh my gosh, pieces were incorrectly numbered - luckily I noticed that a drawer and a cupboard side shouldn't go together before I screwed them in, the screws are so short on the feet that they fall off if you're not careful, the drawers catch on the screws if you use the holes provided, and do yourself a favour and get some decent screws for the keyboard tray because they are so soft that they can't possibly be screwed all the way in without disintegrating! The instructions aren't clear, they show screws that don't exist and sometimes it's difficult to tell which way up the pieces should be. Ultimately though, if you have built flat pack furniture before, and you have a little common sense, it's quite a nice, solid desk. The drawers are a little flimsy, but I'm pleased with the final result.

Sturdy practical desk.
Arrived in 2 boxes, but 4 days apart. Assembly was difficult and took me 3.5 hours. This was due to... a) some of the labels numbering the parts were missing, b) understanding how the runners for the pull out shelf worked. c) fitting metallic tubes supporting the table top and finally d). there were no holes in 2 out of the 8 risers, so had to drill these myself.
