I have bought a few of these now absolutely incredible for the price and comfortable and made by viscount

Absolutely no exaggeration here. First, everyone's bums are different. Unfortunately that's just the way it is, you will not know if a saddle is going to work for you until you put your bum on it and ride it for a bit. That said, I've tried some very expensive saddles. I thought I had the perfect saddle before this when I finally bit the bullet and put a Brooks saddle on my commuter. Then I got another bike, but didn't want to spend another fortune on the saddle for a weekend warrior bike, so after some research I landed on this saddle. It's leaps and bounds amazing. I actually can ride my bike without bike shorts and still remain comfortable for miles on end. My sit bones just must fit it perfect. I'm not the biggest fan on the looks. I understand the look it's going for, but doesn't work very well with my bike, but again it's a saddle, and comfort should be priority number one, and in that department, it's awesome!

This seat is exactly what i wanted! This is one of the few times that i was really concerned about my purchases because i don't particularly enjoy returning boxes. As far as quality goes, this seat looks extremely well made and is very attractive. I mounted on my very old stool style all black shwinne with a springer style front fork. This black sleek seat fits the bike as it was just meant to be on there. Previously i put a 1930's replica seat on this bike that looked gaudy. Once i mounted it (level) on the bike it was very comfortable feel while riding. The original fat beach cruiser type seat looked good and was very comfortable but this looks custom and way sleeker. Reading reviews about dry rot and quality issues almost scared me into not ordering this seat. Its built very solidly and looks amazing. (brass colored metal rivets by the way, not plastic) Its a road bike type seat but its padded well(nice dense padding) and i love it. Please do not leave it in a hot garage without at least treating it with an appropriate product like maybe armor all. Note: The ring that slides around the seat post is not mounted on this seat but some very nice black steel rails are part of this seat. I used the ring clamp that came with the original bike seat and it worked perfectly. If you can't afford a 130 dollar brooks seat then buy this, i can confidently tell you that you'll love it.

Compared this to my women's Brooks B 17 S, by turning it upside down on my Brooks to compare measurements. The broad part of the saddle, at the back, is almost exactly the same width and supports my sit bones just right. The nose of the saddle is longer than my Brooks by at least an inch, just as every saddle that is not for women is made. I put this on a bike that I do not ride for long distance, so it works. The saddle cover, according to the opinion of my husband who does leather work, IS a thin leather. The texture of the cover is grainy, not smooth like a Brooks. So it generates more friction, but this might change with more wear. Also, because this saddle has a plastic support, covered by a thin layer of gel, covered by the saddle cover, it does not give like the leather of a Brooks does. With all those critical comparisons made, I will say this is a very nice saddle. I wish they made it in a women's shorter design. If they did I would buy several more for several of my bikes. As it is I am probably going to buy another one in black. The brown matches pretty good with Deda Elementi leather handlebar wrap. The copper metal rivets look super cool. If it was a women's, size, I would give it 5 stars.

Possible B-17 knockoff???Not really but somewhat close. For the price its a fantastic buy. I would try one of these before getting a B-17 or even the same Origin8 seat in leather at a $100.00 plus average price. I like the wideness of the rear of the seat. The long nose might be a little much in off road use but is fine on a road bike.I would have given a rating of four stars instead of five because of the weight of the seat but if weights a crittical matter then I would upgrade to another seat with the same dimentions.Last time I searched I found this to be the Possible B-17 knockoff??? I only put 4 stars for durability because I haven't quite put it to the test yet. I was recommended this seat because I was originally looking for a brooks but do love a bargain. Honestly for the price I think it is the better choice unless you are a brand snob (for lack of a better term) and it looks great.It isn't the MOST comfortable seat I've had, however it is amazing how comfortable it is for the price, I can definitely see myself taking long rides no problem.Overall I am highly satisfied and if their quality/price is like this across the board I will be getting a lot more Origin8 products in the future.

I have only ridden the seat for a month. It is just a little harder than another brand I had like it before. I am quite used to it now. Only concerns I have are longevity. I noticed some of the staple work on the underside of the saddle is a bit suspect. The price was right. I will update in a couple years. Thats how long I would expect out of it. Any less I would be a bit disappointed.
