My normal tool of choice is the Cuetec bowtie took which looks similar to these.I thought I'd order a couple of these because they were cheaper and I wanted to see how they compare.The weight is similar, and this is a little bigger. The tip pick works fantastic, which is mainly what I use these for.My main gripe is the flat shaper and scuffer ends on this(think tip tapper) in contast to the curved ones on the Cuetec. I like the way the Cuetec is designed better in that respect.I kept these to give away, but I think I'm going to pay a little more and get the Cuetec ones, they just seem like a better value.

This tool does everything that a billiards player will need to keep their cue tip in shape and ready to play. It's small enough to fit into a que stick case side pouch and it is very easy to use.

Read the other reviews complaining about the shape of the tool. It is the same as the shape in the photos. Don't bash a product because you didn't pay attention. It does what it says and looks good. Great product for the money for sure

This tip conditoner works very well. It helps hold the chalk on the cue tip to keep from mis-cues. Compact but with high quality craftmanship. Easy to carry in the case when needed and any good player does need one.

I prefer the shaper to be concave so I can easily round my cue tip. If I had known this one would be flat I would not have bought it! Now I have to buy a different one!

This item is durable and compact. I shoot pool at home and use leather tips and this tools performs just fine for working on tips.

If the glue holds them together these work well for the money but of the 3 I ordered only one stayed together. I ended up epoxying one back together as the end plate scraper fell off.
