Fromm FourStar Cat Food Salmon Tunachovy (5 lb)

This is probably one of the very best dry cat foods on the market. I bought it for our new rescued tuxedo kitten after learning a lot about how important it is to feed your pets high quality, grain free, high protein food with added probiotics. Our daughter had just lost her 11 year old family pet cat basically because she fed her the wrong food. Just like a human, cats and dogs need good nutrition and what you put in their little bodies will come back to haunt you if you aren't careful. She had no idea the supposedly "expensive" food she was buying in the grocery stores was nothing but corn, wheat and animal byproducts and nutritionally very unhealthy. Her cat deveolped stomach tumors which became malignant. A very sad lesson learned. After going thru that with her, we decided early on that we wanted to feed our kitty something that would help him live a long and happy life. I had been feeding him Blue Buffalo Wilderness Kitten, and while that is also a very good product, he just wasn't in love with it.....I just knew by the way he picked at it that it wasn't making him happy. I did a lot of reading and researching and found 2 foods that I thought were probably the highest quality available. Orijen and Fromm. They both have almost all 5 star ratings pretty much anywhere you look. I decided to go with Fromm because Origen is made in Canada and Fromm in the USA, which I prefer buying Our new kitty just loved this stuff from the moment I opened the bag and he smelled it. He's not a big eater and had just finished 1/2 a can of Tiki Cat, which is a lot for him...so I kind of thought he wouldn't even touch the Fromm for a while. NOT SO! I put a handful in his bowl and he jumped on it and gobbled it down in about 30 seconds...acted like he hadn't eaten in days! We couldn't have been more thrilled....we finally found something he loved! The only complaint I have is that it's pretty pricey. I wish Amazon would find a better source so it would be available on Prime. It would help if we didn't have to pay shipping. But, we are so in love with our little guy that unless I find something else just as good for him and that he loves as well, it looks like we'll be dipping into our retirement fund!. .

Fromm's is the first premium dry cat food I've tried that my cats will eat over the cheap Friskies brand. I've been trying for months to upgrade my cats' diet after learning the truth about what's in pet food. I'm not only a cat and dog rescuer, but a horse rescuer, and discovered that, although horse slaughter for human consumption is not legal in this country, our horses are being slaughtered for pet food. Horse meat is never organic. Domestic horses are given drugs, eat a variety of insecticide-laden vegetation, etc. Even food that does not indicate that it has horse meat is very often tainted with it. We found this to be the case when testing food distributed by a purveyor of high end pet foods here in Georgia. When some horse owners want to dispose of a horse, this company is called to send a 'hit man' to shoot a horse in the head then render it for pet food. Beware of any animal byproduct not named by specie on the label (i.e. chicken, beef, etc.) Anything labeled 'animal' (fat, byproduct, etc.) could mean anything, and that includes pets, often euthanized and rendered for their fat to create the tasty fat coating on many low-end dry pet foods. Fromm's is a company that has been around for many years. Their ingredient list is stellar and, although the source of every ingredients is unknown, the quality appears to be consistent. I'm just thrilled that I have managed to find a healthy cat food that they love.

This is my cat's FAVORITE Fromm flavor! It is very hard to find grain free pet food options, so I was super happy when my two cats loved the flavor and really enjoy eating this product. As always, it's very important to introduce new brands to your pets slowly, which I did upon first getting this product. But, I had no need to worry, because my kitties had no digestive problems with the switch whatsoever. In fact, since switching, their coats have been noticeably improved in shine and dandruff. Also, they have both always been prone to hairballs/vomiting issues, but since switching, their issues have gone from daily to weekly or less. I couldn't be more thrilled with that! I will definitely continue to purchase this product and would definitely recommend it to other pet parents looking for organic, gain free food options.

I can’t believe how incredible this product is. I tried everything you can think or and spent hundreds looking for the best food for my little baby girl. She threw up, kept itching. I knew it was down to her cat food. The moment I bought this, she completely changed, her coat looks shinier, she STOPPED throwing up and itching! You guys are miracle workers, please NEVER change your ingredients. I will be a customer for life. For all my fur babies. Thanks to you and your honest ingredients I finally feel like my baby is getting the best. It makes me want to cry I was so stressed out. Thank you thank you thank you!!!!

My Mom's cat does not like dry food and will go most of a day without eating if that is all there is. She seems to like this quite well, and although she still prefers wet cat food, she will eat this no problem if that is what I put down for her. I gave about a pound if it to my sister for her cat to try. Her cat gets only dry food amd she loved this also.

I have fed my cat Fromm foods exclusively since she was a kitten. She is now almost three, and she is strong and active. I feel that these foods have helped her to maintain a healthy coat as well. (Although she would probably say it is her obsessive cleaning). She is always excited to get her food, and these four-star flavors truly are interchangeable. This is a great product.

The losting clearly states it's a 5lb bag, and the picture also shows a 5lb bag. However, I received a 4lb bag instead. This discrepancy is disappointing and misleading.

Cette bouffe a rendu mes 2 chats malades... Plus de 1000$ de frais de vétérinaire. J'ai changé de nourriture et tout est entré dans l'ordre après traitement.... PLUS JAMAIS JE N'ACHÈTERAI CE PRODUIT.
