Great product.

I thought I would be paying $40 or more for a quality lens plate. This fit the foot on my 100-500 collar perfectly. It has nice rubber pads. It mounted securely, was stable and allowed me to easily balance my rig fore and aft. Quality, fit and finish was just as good as plates costing double the price.

Some imported plates either have a shallow dovetail or its too thick, which has less security for holding your expensive Dslr. This plate is perfect, nice deep dovetails. I feel safe putting a $3000.00 Dslr on these.

If you’re not trying to put dual bolts in (like with video cameras - 1/4-20” & 3/8”) to prevent rotating, this is a great plate. Unfortunately not for me as I need the 3/8” addition and the bolt holes do not allow for that on this one. Would recommend for lighter weight users though!

Nikon OEM lens foot does not support Arca tripod or monopod heads. So adding a Arca plate to the OEM foot allows me to easily clamp the lens onto any of my tripods and monopods for landscape or sports photography. The benefit of the 120mm plat is it is long enough to cover the full length of the OEM lens foot to have some stick out in front, so I can hold the plate with my palm and use my fingers to adjust the zoom ring on my Nikon telephoto lenses, either the mirrorless Nikon Z 70-200mm f/2.8s or 100-400mm 4.5-5.6s lenses.This is a much less expensive option to provide Arca compatibility.

I purchased this quick release to put on my Sony 200-600mm lens to give give me extra leverage for hand holding for birds in flight. Very sturdy product. Great price.

…the captured thumbscrew is very small and appears flimsy. Difficult to tighten by hand. Fortunately it has a slot for a screwdriver. OK for the price.
