A New Repeat Customer
This was my first time ordering Hibiscus. The shipment came quickly, and they give ALOT of petals. I was shocked by how big the bag was. And knowing how little I need to use in my Henna and tea, this will last me a LONG time. Its definitely worth the money. You can also just smell how fresh the petals are. Its a little too strong for me, but I'll get used to it, and the smell will wane the longer I have it.When I added the petals to my Henna, they gave my hair a nice red tinge and more shine. My hair is black, so I cant see the color unless in bright light, but nevertheless it has made my hair color richer and more vibrant. Overall, I'll definitely order from Star West again. Now, if only they would start selling Marshmallow Root...

Very pricey for what you get
The hibiscus was decent quality, not super dry. We use hibiscus to make Jamaica, a Mexican beverage that we love. The Jamaica created using this product was good but not as good as others made from a different vendor. I would not have purchased it if we weren't feeling desperate due to the pandemic and our local supplier not selling it,

Another new repeat customer.
I just received my first order of Hibiscus Flower Petals and am extremely pleased. I was a little concerned due to some other reviews, however, these dried hibiscus flowers are beautiful, fragrant. They are packaged extremely well and, so far, I have not seen any leaves stems or sticks, only the dried flowers so their quality control is working. I don't expect perfection in something like this, but this came pretty close! Well done Starwest! BTW - I am just a woman working to improve her blood pressure, I have no attachment to Starwest but I will be looking at all their products now.

It IS whole flower product
I cannot say anything about efficacy yet, but the product looks legit. It smells very good, there are a lot of loose petals, true, but it is expected in presence of dried flower. The product is fragrant, crunchy and I found only flowers and petals inside. The resulting dark brilliant red infuse test "tarty" as expected. I will buy it again.

I would rather give this a 2. 5. ...
I would rather give this a 2.5. I first tried dried hibiscus flowers in Israel where they are chewy and delicious, even as is. When I made a cup of tea with the Israeli version the tea was delicious and the WHOLE flowers were yummy to eat at the end of the cup - and no sugar needed. So I was quite disappionted when I ordered and found these flower petals all dried up. They didn't rehydrate to a yummy chewy treat after soaking in hot water either. So disappointing 😞I also ordered this brand because it was Kosher. The flavor is OK - a bit too sour. I wish I could find a kosher source for the kind of dried Hibiscus that we bought at the shuk in Jerusalem.

not as described
I received the product, opened the bag, only to see they are not what I ordered. The product title clearly says they are whole flowers, and the picture on the webpage shows whole flowers, but they are loose petals - petals that fall off of the flowers. Took a look at the package and it says "Hibiscus flower petals whole organic". What do you do when you've already opened the bag?

Great quality and value
Great quality and value! The tea made from these hibiscus petals is very flavorful (tart!) and has amazing color and scent.Would highly recommend, although know that these aren't whole flowers per se, but whole petals from the flowers. You will probably need to crunch them up a bit with a mortar & pestle to make tea, although I have not tried just throwing some petals straight into the hot water. That may work too, but I imagine it's better to crunch first for more surface area and to release the goodness from within the petals.
