🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The Secret Sauce for a Perfect Griddle Seasoning
If you own a Blackstone griddle (or any griddle, really), this seasoning and conditioner is a must-have. I’ve tried DIY seasoning with other oils before, but nothing compares to how this product performs.Application? Super easy. It spreads evenly, doesn’t smoke excessively, and creates a smooth, even layer every time. Results? After just a couple of uses, my griddle developed that beautiful, dark, nonstick finish that cooking dreams are made of. Bacon sizzles, eggs slide, and smash burgers? Perfection.Smell? Mild and clean—not overpowering like some other oils.Versatility? Great for initial seasoning and for regular maintenance. I use a tiny bit after every cook to keep the surface protected.Bonus points for being all-natural and food-safe. It’s a small bottle, but a little goes a long way.Bottom line: This stuff makes griddle seasoning foolproof. Don’t mess around with random oils—Blackstone’s got it figured out.

Easy, all in one product
Made seasoning a breeze. I have only had to season my grill once when I assembled it, and we're 5 months in. The process STINKS. It's not the product, it's the science behind it. Make sure if your planning on placing your grill on your deck, to season it in your yard or driveway away from your home. It smokes, A LOT, and the smell will come into your house if its on your deck.

Thin layers - that's the key!
Seasoning works pretty well. I wouldn't say it so much more advanced than some other traditional oils, but does a good job seasoning a Blackstone. Ended up doing 5 coats during the initial seasoning process and am pretty happy. Still need to clean & re-oil after each cook, but that's to be expected. Overall it seems to have done a nice job.

Terrific - but make sure the griddle is HOT
I have a Weber S-435 natural gas grill. I bought the griddle attachment. It's carbon steel, not cast iron, but the two materials share quite a few features, including the fact that, if not properly maintained, they are not very non-stick, and - worse - they can rust. So, I bought this seasoning / protectant material.I cleaned off the new griddle, which was shiny grey in color, then turned the grill up to maximum heat (three burners on this grill are under the griddle), waited till the griddle began to discolor, then added a tablespoon of this seasoning mix. I quickly spread it around using a rolled up paper towel held in grill tongs. I left the lid open (the videos I watched don't say anything about what to do with the lid). After the smoke had died down, I repeated the seasoning. I did this three times, and it worked reasonably well but: (i) the corners of the griddle were not as dark as the center, presumably because the burners focus on the center part of the griddle; and (ii) even then, the center was brown, not black. I measured the griddle temperature using an infrared thermometer; it was about 520 F. So, I seasoned it again, BUT this time I closed the grill lid after wiping the griddle with the seasoning. Left it for five minutes, then opened the lid. What a difference closing the lid made. Griddle temp was about 100 F higher (around 630F), and the entire griddle was very dark, almost black - just like in the videos :-)I did it twice more (closing the lid), then turned off the grill, let the griddle cool to around 350F, wiped on a thin coat of seasoning, and let the grill cool completely. The griddle looks great. Closed and covered the grill, and now I'm ready for my weekend cookout!

pretty good stuff
I don't know if it's the palm oil or the beeswax, but I like this seasoning oil way better than the Lodge brand. It burns off a little quicker and puts on a harder patina in my opinion. I'm going to start using this on my cast iron too.

A must!
This stuff is AMAZING! We tried seasoning our grill by ourselves and ended up buying this stuff because someone recommended it. It is wellllll worth it. Our grill is much easier to clean, looks amazing and the burgers are so much easier to flip. 10/10!
