Field Marshal Sam Manekeshaw: The Man and His Times

The book is a very interesting read, I finished it over the weekend. It is a biography of the greatest Indian Military General, that offers invaluable leadership lessons without actually giving them. The man was an institution; the book documents the evidence. Very nicely written.

An extremely informative book of a very interesting soldier who made it to the very top of his profession. The many facets of his life in peace and war make fascinating reading and his quirky personality endeared him to everyone he met.

This is a book for good reading

So perfect that it seems difficult to believe a man with such greatness ever lived. As a close aid the writer has brought life to every single event that happened during the life of SAM. I really loved reading the funny incidents and narratives. Hope you all would enjoy reading this book.
