Handmade Medium Vintage Leather Journal Diary Men Women Gift for Him Her

This is an absolutely wonderful journal, of the highest craftsmanship. I searched for hours and hours to find it, and it fits my needs perfectly. It is the same dimensions as my "A Year To Clear" book (5" x 7" and at 1.5" thick it has MORE THAN one page a day for one year)! It has a lovely long strap that allows me to wrap around both the book and the journal which will be my daily devotion this year. The paper is a wonderful creamy color and texture (like a refined handmade paper, slightly rough with fibers visible here and there) and the binding is very carefully made: constructed of 8 banks of 12 doubled and hand-laced-together sheets (yielding 24 sheets with two sides each) for a total of 384 pages (=48 pages x 8) to write on, more than enough for a page-a-day for a year (1 year is 365 days)! The edges are all perfectly even, are squared to the binding and tightly and perfectly glued to create a very refined look. Plus there is a stiff cover page for the front and back just inside the binding, a very nice touch. The leather is a lovely rich brown, very supple, giving a sumptuous feel to the hand. What a joy. It is because of this journal I decided I could start journalling for the first time. About the ONLY way I can think of improving it would be to add a pen loop inside the bend of the over-flap (where there is room between it and the edge of the pages - see picture). I ordered this so that I could start keeping a journal for my newborn daughter. I'm very satisfied with the quality and design. When I pulled it out of the wrapping, the smell was amazing! The paper is nice and toothy and heavy, no bleed through with a fountain pen, and there is a ton of it! This has substantially more pages than any of the other journals I was looking at. Couple of notes: I thought this would be soft covered, not a deal breaker, just different from what I thought. It does have a little flex, that may wear in as I use it more. It also is a touch smaller than it looked in other reviewer's photos, but it is exactly what the dimensions say: 5x7 inches. Again, not a deal breaker at all. My biggest disappointment was that my journal had the first section's page binding tear, so I lost about 6 sheets. The rest of the binding is fine though, so I didn't see any point in returning it. Like I said this is to be a journal for my daughter and will hopefully be a treasured item one day. This was exactly everything I was hoping it would be! I will be ordering this again once I fill these pages.

I ordered this leather, handmade journal for my son in law. I was very pleased with the look and feel of it when I opened the box (a very nice gift box with the journal wrapped inside) and I know he will love it. Upon opening, you are instantly greeted with a strong, genuine leather smell. The leather is thick and sturdy, yet supple enough to easily lay properly when writing in the journal. The pages inside are thick and have the feel of handmade paper. It's definitely a very good quality journal and one that can be passed down to future generations to read.

This is a nice little book, it has a large amount of sketch paper inside, so you won't run out anytime soon. The exterior is real leather, has a nice appearance and feel. The binding of the paper is a bet flimsy so take care when handling. The book was a bit smaller than i expected, kinda making it hard to write or sketch in. But overall, i'm pleased with the purchase. Included inside the front page was a nice note for the company who manufactured it...a company from India, who was very appreciative of the purchase, i thought this was a nice touch.

This is such a beautiful journal. The leather is so smooth and soft! And the paper is really lovely too. Its a thick journal and I can't wait to use it. I originally got it as a gift for someone else and then decided im going to get one for myself too. It's a really great gift to get someone, because of its fine craftsmanship I'm definitely going to buy more in the future for gifts.

Having something in writing; I mean in handwriting is a lost form. Lately, I've been nostalgic about the past. This journal has a wonderful leather scent to it and is of very good quality. It's very thick (as is the pages) and definitely vintage looking. It is nice having something special that very few would appreciate. I like to travel and decided to handwrite my journeys into this very handsome journal that looks like something from an old movie. I also created a keepsake box for my journal and hope to one day have notes, pictures and other memorabilia for my children and grandchildren one day -- hoping they will also inherit my love for experiencing new places and cultures.

READ IF YOU STILL HAVE CONFUSION! ᶘ ⊙ᴥ⊙ᶅ My first impression was like for the first time I got to see how carefully someone can do the packaging, it was well packaged so there is no longer doubt about how it will come out, the layering and at last their cloth bag! It is soo good, I felt sooo happy that I have something which is leather made and the pages are warm yellow in colour, they are also handmade I think so. The size is travel friendly so whoever is looking for it they should have this one! At first I was thinking if I bend the book a bit it will torn or something but it's well stitched, binding quality is perfect! 🤍 I would say just get it before it's too late. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It was on my wish list for soo long after my journal finished I was eager to buy another! My expectations were just it should have a lot of pages and not too big so I can carry or place it anywhere! And guess what out of the blue I found this and after checking the reviews with my bitter-sweet experience I finally decided to order it after talking to my didi. So I was soo excited to unbox it as it came today probably it's my Christmas gift for myself!🎄🎁

Perfecto para quienes disfrutan escribir o buscan un regalo especial. El cuero de este diario tiene un acabado suave al tacto con un aspecto vintage. Es perfecto para llevar en una mochila o bolso sin ocupar mucho espacio. Las hojas lisas son ideales tanto para escribir como para dibujar. La calidad del cuero y el grosor del papel hacen que valga la pena para quienes buscan algo duradero.

Absolutely great quality. I liked the vintage sort of look of this journal. The leather on the cover is very soft and looks very classy. I would buy another one to gift my friend.

Lo primero que noté al recibir el diario es que tiene un peso y un tamaño muy acecuados, ligeramente más grande de lo que esperaba. También tiene un aroma muy agradable a cuero y papel artesanal. Se ve de buena calidad en el papel y la cubierta. Viene dentro de una bolsa de tela e incluye una carta agradeciendo la compra y poniéndose a disposición del cliente en caso de que algo no sea de su agrado, y firmada a mano por el artesano que los hace. Compré este cuaderno para mí pero en cuanto lo tuve en mis manos supe que la siguiente vez que quiera dar un regalo especial probablemente pida más como éste.

I ordered this book first as a gift for my sister's birthday but then found myself desiring a copy after seeing the tactile thick strong stunning journal that came in the mail. Not only did the Journal arrive both times in a small canvas drawstring bag, but it also included a personally signed note from the company thanking me for supporting their small business. I 100% defiantly recommend ordering one of these!!!
