I have had this set of bookends since 2020, and they are still securely holding all my cookbooks in the kitchen! The quality is top-notch; I haven't experienced any issues with them bending or bowing under the weight of the cookbooks, which can be quite hefty. I have a long floating shelf for my cookbooks, and without these bookends, they would topple over easily. The color is a perfect neutral, and the tree design matches beautifully with my woodland-themed kitchen.

These are highly decorative and made of a good strong component. Holds the books just perfectly without sliding across the shelf. Very satisfied in this product.

These are not heavy duty book ends. They’re very lightweight and I have had to use two instead of one at the end of my book shelves. I think they are appropriate for books the size of paperbacks and certainly not for the large and heavy books that I have. **Update. The seller kindly offered me a refund. Although the book ends didn’t work for me, the fact that they offered a refund is pretty much unheard of these days. Obviously conscientious and paying attention. The bookcases are lovely just not as heavy duty as I needed.

Love how they accent the room and work functionally. Just wish that they were longer or wider, so that they accommodated larger books

This is my second purchase of these. They have a classy and interesting appearance, and I use them on surfaces where they can be seen (e.g., on a bookshelf or desk, not inside a shelf - for those I usually use plan bookends). They are sturdy and the metal is thicker than most. I use them for large and heavy books without a problem. Good value.
