Saved me forking out another £200 for a new PS4!
I don’t normally write reviews, but this product deserves one.Problem - kids on lockdown, PS4 overheating and shutting off within half hour, dads brains and ears getting chewed, dad is also a long standing gamer and unable to play his games. Dad is very tenacious as tries a repair (replace thermo paste and clean out heat sink) only to find power bank screw is threaded from a warranty repair a long time ago. Dad manages to thread it even more and then tries some tactics off the net such as rubber band etc but nothing works. Now thinking s**t.Solution - this screw extractor! I was 50/50 from reading the reviews but some type of screw extractor was my last hope. Brought this due to #0 size, drilled counter clockwise, then used extractor side which budged it a little but no further. Tbh I was over the moon that it had loosened it at all and became hopefulI (kids observing all the while) I then used the #1 extractor side and bam out it came! This allowed me to carry out the service and repair needed :D we now have a PS4 which is as quiet as a mouse and can run for hours with no problem at all! Well pleased!

Great for a One Off problem
For this price it was worth trying as if I couldn't have got the damaged screws/bolts out the damaged unit was a throwaway.I have used these now for removing several stuck screws and bolts on my motorbike refurb projectthe thread on the removal end of the tool showed signs of wear after only a couple of screw removals so I don't think these are made to lastbut having said that for the very cheap price they have saved me having to replace bike parts that had seized screws/bolts

Removes screws.
They actually worked. I would recommend watching a video on the technique but these guys saved my butt with a particularly nasty rounded screw for my car rear lighting assembly.

First one didnt do the job
I think the steel is not hard and strong enough as the end git worn. The other end was still unable to remove the screw.

Not great
Didn’t work for me. Stripped the screw completely, but wouldn’t grip the screw to remove it.

Not as good as I thought
I've only used them twice and on both occasions I've failed to get them to work? Maybe it's me but they don't seem to work for me like they did in the video?
