desertcart.com: Theodore Gray's ABC Elements: 9780762467013: Gray, Theodore, Mann, Nick: Books Review: Go with "My First Elements" not this one. - We already have Theodore Gray's "My First Elements", it's very educational in that it says the element's name, atomic mass (number) and symbol (abbreviations/ letter), as well as give photos and examples on where it can be found/what it is. Buying this book, "ABC Elements", I figured it would be the same as "My First Elements" in that it would be educational and list the name, atomic mass and symbol too. My husband and I were really excited to have more elements to read about with our daughter. I was wrong. In this book it's literally just the name of an element (A-Z, missing J and Q) and a photo of what the element is. It's not nearly as educational as the other book... Our daughter is 15 months old and LOVES books, especially her other book on elements. I highly recommend going with the other book. It's way better, and also includes the entire periodic table at the end of the book, unlike this one. Of course it IS educational, but not as much as "My First Elements". Review: Our 2 1/2 year old granddaughter loves it!
