Used this inside a drawer, standing up, and it suites the purpose well. The rigid design worked well for the standing installation (base screwed to the bottom of the drawer) and hold thicker paper towels

Almost an exact match to replace the one I installed a decade ago. Alas, that one broke at the 90 degree bend while I was across the kitchen just looking at it. Will this one do the same? Wrong material choice? Time will tell. Meanwhile, nice design which just about disappears into the kitchen decor in use.

I bought this at $17 and some change. It didn't come with any hardware to hang it and it seems like the it will eventually Crack at the corners from wear and tear. Not worth the increased price of 24.

Bought this holder for a friend with limited mobility, to replace one with failed spring hinges. As we all know, there is nothing more annoying than something one uses many times a day that does not function well. So, the holder had to work well (not let the whole towel roll pop off), attach under the cabinet to save counter space, be easy to load, and look nice. This holder, with its simple, elegant design, with no moving parts to fail, does all four things very well. Elaborate engineering is not necessary to get the job done. Hard to find this design in stores, so buy it when you find it. Lotsa stars.

Very easy to install, however, make sure that you have all materials ready. Paper towel holder does not come with screws.

Great Little Paper Towel Holder

Nowhere in the product description does it say not to hang this product vertically, so I am cautioning users not to hang this product vertically. If you do, the rod will fall to the ground. It slips right through the holes that are meant to hold it. It will not stay in the holder no matter what you do. I regret this purchase.

The lucite seems very thin and it didn't come with any mounting screws. But it holds the paper towels and hasn't broken yet (after 1 week). I don't expect it to last as long as the last one, which was definitely thicker, sturdier lucite. Kind of annoying that i had to find my own screws too.
