Jaworski has provided a concise description of the main elements of servicing and rebuilding the full range of components of different models of the MF35. It is complemented by a good range of photographs that might be helpful in undertaking the laborious task of repairing the 'heavy lifting' components of these tractors. But it fell short in providing the kind of descriptions that might be useful in providing guidance for efficient completion of the irritating aspects of reassembly. It seemed the author did not have a clear idea about the audience to which he was pitching. There was too little information for the the MF35 novice and probably nothing new for the seasoned tinkerer. In my situtation a photo of the throttle assembly might have helped me avoid bolting and unbolting the alternator adjustment 4 times. Whereas critical information on the position of the big end assembly (and piston) would have saved me quite a few phone calls. More trival information about positioning of the brackets on the fan before bolting it to the water pump might have saved me the effort of disassembling the radiator, twice! And there was information whose omission would not have made the text any less useful. An instruction to place the head gasket with the side labelled 'Top' upwards helped little, as this gasket had no label. It begged the question of the importance of this positioning but with no guidance. The manual will provide some useful information in the event major surgery is required in the future, however it will not be my main source of informaton.
