ProxysoftPeriodontal Floss 50 (Formerly Thornton Periodontal Floss)

What I don’t care about it is that it was very expensive. There were others in there that appeared to have the same thickness and quality and was far less expensive. However, when I did use the product, it was very soft and it was exactly what I had been using for sometime the Thornton’s periodontal floss.

The Proxy Soft Periodontal Floss was recommended by my dental hygienist. I have been using them for several years now with excellent results. 💕

This product is touted as a replacement for Thornton floss. It is not even close. The threader is poorly made, as the diameter is inconsistent. As anyone with tight bridges will tell you, this characteristic is bad. The threader is like pulling links of sausage through flossing gaps! If you manage to get the threader through your flossing gap, the threader starts to fray, making that piece of floss unusable. Thornton was an excellent product, so much so that it was recommended by hygienists and technicians. This stuff is crap!

these are great if they are what you need and quite thick so make sure that's what you need
