Excellent product to have a bit of light if the power fails, so you don't bang into things. Quality. Works as a nice night light as well.

I have a set that I purchased from QVC a few years ago that look exactly like this but perform 100% better. These will do but I cannot find the exact match to the originals.

Even though I have not had to test this nightlight/flashlight "without electricity", the fact that the nightlight brightens as I walk past it, due to the motion control gives me confidence it will work.

One of the few nightlights on amazon that actually works as advertised. At night, it's dim until it detects motion, at which point it gets brighter. 30 seconds later, it there is no movement, it goes back to dim. Just right for late night bathroom runs. Power failure function and flashlight function also works well. Recommended...

These multi-purpose Nite Lights are perfect. They brighten the entire room like a quality flashlight, only smaller. No need to turn on the overhead lights just to walk into the room. Super bright and can be dimmed to soft night. Electric goes out.... No problem, these lights will stay on either as a full bright lite or a Nite light which can last longer. Can be used like a regular flash lite too. I keep one in the Bathroom and one in the Hallway going up the stairway. Also, they a real lifesaver when the electric power goes out during a storm, because you still have lights on! Buy them... you won't go wrong!!! Love them!!! 🥰

PROS: The power-loss automatic night-light battery lasted for approximately 30 HOURS non-stop!CONS: It's too bright in a dark room. It has the power of a thousand suns. It also has a very weak photosensor, and the cutoff level for having the night-light completely off is quite bright ambient light. It seems to be on unless it's in direct sunlight. After a couple months, it started brightening and darkening every 30 seconds like it detected motion. I put it a few feet behind furniture in a closed-off corner, and it still cycled. I blocked off the PIR motion sensor, and it still quadruples brightness every 30 seconds. I think the photosensor is oversensitive and/or faulty. Or maybe the wireless charger is bad. I'm quite disappointed in the cheap materials.The information that comes with the night-light on the packaging and the printed instructions is vague, absent, and/or blatantly wrong. For instance, the packaging and Amazon listing say it has an 800 mAh battery, but the instructions says it's a 500 mAh battery. The battery is actually labeled 800 mAh. The manual says 50Hz, and the box says 60 Hz, but of course it's the standard 50-60 Hz of household AC. A diagram in the instructions says it goes from 0% illumination with no motion detected to 100% illumination when motion is detected, but it really hovers at 25% when it's on, then bumps up to 100% for 25 seconds when it detects motion. They call it a torch light when the nine LEDs for the night-light are on and the unit isn't plugged in, not to be confused with the British term for a flashlight. They call it a flashlight when it's not plugged in and the top LED is on.

I unplugged it and the light was on for 10 hours and it was still plenty bright, no sign of running out of batteries. This light sensitivity is just right in my opinion. Turns on when there is log ambient light such as in a hallway with no natural...
