Great Classic Workout Warmups
I am a woman, but I bought these for myself, in order to have a comfortable pair of cool weather workout sweats for my epic treadmill walks. I'm relatively petite, so I did have to hem these for them to fit, but it is SO HARD to find workout gear for women that offers a "natural waistline" that I was willing to put in the extra work to make these fit me.For a guy, they'd fit perfectly right out of the package. The length's about 32". The material has a great heft (not too heavy, not too light) and the stitching and finishing is A+. Material density makes these a better choice for cooler weather (not a set of summertime sweats). They look a LOT neater to me than a lot of the roll-down low-waisted Yoga pants available now & they'd be PERFECT for active sports like racquetball.Don't ask me why, but men's clothes seem to always be made of a better material than women's. Search me, but I've found my answer, at least for walks in my home gym. I'll alter what I need to to get some decently comfortable workout clothes that aren't hanging off my hips after the first mile.Great quality at a great price; highly recommended for both men and women who know how to sew OR are on the tall side!

Decent Workout Pants
The size is pretty accurate. I am 69 inches, 180 pounds with 34 in waist and the pants fit quite well. My legs are normal size for someone who workouts and the pants are comfortably just a little loose in the legs -- but if you've got a big butt or thick legs, you may want to go up a sizeThe material is a good compromise between the lightweight t-shirt type material and the heavy cotton sweats. The only draw back is that the legs are too long by about 2-3 inches. I would understand it if there are a lot of people who they would be suitable for, but you would have to have a long skinny body to appreciate the length. They are passable for non-runing types of workouts, but would be a tripping hazzard if you used them on the treadmill or while jogging.Rather than making pants so long, why don't they use the same length of material, but hem them a litle shorter for average height people? That way taller folks could simply remove the stitching.I give them 4 stars because they are comfortable and a better fit than any other workout pants I have tried -- the crotch does not hang down like in so many other pants I've tried. They are comfortable enough to use when just hanging out too.

Nice lounge around pants.
While I described the fit to be as expected I did have to have them hemmed up. That is more of a reflection of my body shape than the pants. I tend to be a bit wide across the beam so I ordered a large size, i.e. 2XL. They are an excellent fit around the waist. But my across the beam vs. stem to stern (leg length) ratio is a bit skewed. In other words, to get them to fit comfortably around the waist I had pants that drapped down around my feet and then some. Not a problem. I had a seamstress remove a few inches and now they are an excellent fit from top to bottom as well as from side to side. They are comfortable to lounge around the house in or even go out for a bike ride and knock around the neighborhood.

Too baggy and long!
Wow....if I were a guy I would be self conscience about how baggy the front of these pants are. I purchased the Granite Heather XX-Large. I used the sizing guide, but holy cow the pants are really large and baggy and LONG. The inseam is 36". On the pro side the pants are made of quality, thick and dense material. The pockets are adequate in that my hand up to my wrist can fit inside. I purchased the pants to wear on a 22 hour airplane ride and will feel comfortable wearing them in public and know that I will be comfortable while flying.

Perfect fit.. after first wash.
I'm a 6'1" male, 180lbs, 30in waist. I bought the XL sweatpants. The sweatpants were a little long when I first received them. They were about an inch longer than I needed them to be and they dragged a little bit. After the first wash they shrunk just enough so they didn't drag anymore. They fit me perfectly and that is hard to find for me because of my slender build and long legs. If you are not taller than 5'11" the XL will probably be to long for you. The waist is very elastic. Didn't really require the draw string unless I was going to be jumping a lot. The table given says XL is for 40-42 inch waist, but they fit me just fine with a 30 inch waist. Material is a little thick; perfect for slightly cold weather. I am really happy with this purchase and will be buying more of them.

A PERFECT pair of workout pants. Finally!!!
I'm 5' 10" and about 165 lbs. As most guys my size knows, we sometimes wear a large and sometimes a medium. There is no consistency in the garment industry!! These are cut the way a medium should be cut. These workout pants, made of a durable cotton-ish fabric is perfect on a number of levels:1. It's a nice fabric with just the right level of thickness to it, it isn't like a t-shirt material and it's not too thick like your old timer sweats with the elastic in the waist2. It goes just up to the belly button in height3. It's warm in the winter without being too hot for any summer usage4. Well designed and perfect sized pockets5. Drapes right to the bottom of my feet but doesn't drag on the carpet, even if I'm bare footedI recommend them, very much.
