Marie Callender Chicken Variety Soup, 8 Pack

These are my first Marie Callender soups. Usually I do Progresso or Campbell's Chunky. Both of these are very good, very tasty and filling. They seem to have more chicken in them than most soups. These two varieties, chicken pot pie and chicken and dumplings, are similar. The main difference seems to be one has potatoes and the other has dumplings.These cans are a bit smaller than most soup cans, being roughly 15 ounces instead of the more common 18 ounces. That might be an issue if you divide it into two servings.Also, oddly, these don't have pull tabs to open. I opened the box these came in and threw on in my bag to take to work for lunch. Imagine my surprise when I realized I had a can with no can opener.

For the most part, I have always reached for Marie Callender's products, and with only a few exceptions, have been pleased. I do prefer to make my own soups, but for a quick meal this variety pack is really delicious.

I bought during the start of the pandemic and shelves were empty so I paid a lot more for this. The price now is a good value for the soup you get. It’s probably the only canned soup that has any flavor, any quality to the chicken and isn’t greasy! It just tastes like one of their pot pies in soup form. No gristle, no oil slick on top. Just good tasting soup when you’re too sick to cook.

This was for my sister to use in the mug I sent her. She liked the flavor.

A disappointing set of soups, we love Marie's pies and pot pies, but these soups fell short of our expectations.

I bought this soup and loved it. If you buy it, you will not be disappointed. I still buy it and enjoy its delight. Get some now.

Absolutely love this soup, tasty and very filling. I tend to prefer the Pot Pie soup more, but love them both.

Pretty good. I like the Chicken & Dumplings better!! Far more filling. The Pot Pie is not very filling, too soupy!
