It's a 24-hour analog clock with a sweep second hand
It's a 24-hour analog clock with a sweep second hand. There's hour and minute markings. It's functional and attractive and I saw the price and ordered it. It got delivered and I installed it. So this is really to counter the less-than-5 star reviews. And really, if something can be made out of cheap plastic, it will be.Like anything else on Amazon, if you think it's overpriced, don't buy it, if you are less than satisified, return it.

A 24 hour clock that is a real 24 hour clock
Of all the times I've looked at a clock that was per Sudo 24 hour and just not know if it was AM or PM because it was just a 12-hour clock painted with two sets of numbers for each hour, this is the real thing. This is a real 24-hour clock with a 24-hour hand mechanism. The construction is plastic, with a clear plastic cover that may not be the best for rough environments, tho it will be fine for a simple office. The only other thing I've been able to locate that is a true 24-hour hand clock is the old genuine original WW2 ships chronometers, and those are incredibly tedious to set up and rather rare and expensive at best, if you can find one that is in working condition these days.So I am very happy to finally have a true 24-hour hand clock for the office. (still working 6 years later)

Fun!
This purchase came about because of the confusion between those who think in 24-hour time (for example, the military) and those who haven't been exposed to it - like the spouses! After a lifetime of using it, and it's "odd" (to others) language (zero nine hundred = 9 AM, or fifteen hundred = 3 PM), it was fun to tease the wife - and non-offensive - for a reasonable price. Actually, few users of the 24-hour system, use a clock marked this way, just a clock with the "normal" arrangement of a 12-hour circle with smaller numerals for 13 to 24 under the bigger font, but it now hangs in the workshop, happily ticking off the hours in Greenwich Mean Time, and we laugh about it. There are no windows where it hangs, and I like knowing if it is AM or PM, with a quick glance. So there!

Not bad for the money, small issue with the minute hand.
Nice looking, very quiet. Enjoy the 24 hour dial as almost every job I have had used the 24 hr clock to record events. Plastic construction, which was to be expected at this price. Only issue, as the minute hand starts the downward descent from the 00 position the hand drops down a minute so that at 01 minutes after the hour the minute hand indicates 02 minutes after the hour. This corrects as the minute hand begins the upward motion (after 30 minutes after the hour). Indicating the minute hand mechanism is loose.Other than the idiosyncrasy with the minute hand I really like the clock. The clock would do better without "Zulutime" imprinted on the face dial, first it seems tacky and secondly I have the clock set to Pacific time, not Zulu.

Good looking Zulu clock, It arrived promptly.
The shipping was fast and the packaging was done in a very protective way. I've only had it a couple days, everything seems to be just as advertised.

The mechanism
For the money in today's market , this is decent.Works well for the radio shack. It is not as accurate as the Harrison clock. But not a thousand dollar chronometer either. It beats having to translate LT to UTC at my age. So it needs correction for a few seconds per month. Figuring longitude is done by GPS systems. 4 out 5 . If it sold for $19.95 it would have 5 stars. I am happy with it.

Boohoo
(1) Cheaply made? To be sure. Looks cheap, feels cheap, poor quality thin plastic body. That’s OK, I read the reviews & knew what I was getting.(2) Overpriced? To be sure, but these 24 hr military-style clocks are impossible to find without paying several hundred dollars for the real thing, and I've wanted one for years to remind me of my submariner days. That’s OK, I knew what I was paying (at the time, $34.99).(3) It stopped working several days ago; replacing the battery didn’t work. I bought it in April 2020. "This product comes with a one year manufacturer's warranty” … DEFINITELY NOT OK.

It keeps time but the build quality doesn't justify the $32 price tag.
Folks there really isn't a whole lot to be said. It is an analog clock that indicates 24 hours instead of 12. I work remotely across time zones and during all times of the day and evening. My original plan was to order one of these clocks and if the construction, build quality and accuracy was worthy of $32 I would have purchased several more.Unfortunately analog 24 hour analog clocks are not very popular which means that instead of this being a $10 clock its a $32 clock. It is made of cheap thin plastic and it runs on a single AA battery. It has slightly different gearing and a different clock face. None of which indicate why it costs $20 more than a regular wall clock. We aren't talking handcrafted Swiss precision. It's the same Chinese stuff that gets imported everywhere. So while it does keep accurate time I am annoyed that it costs so much more for something that has standard cheap wall clock build quality. For this reason I cannot give this clock 5 stars. Its functions as a clock (which is good otherwise I would drop it to 1 star) however it is not a good value due to the chosen injection molded plastic construction.
