Beautiful looking and sounding amplifier
Good value…Brilliant amplifier ,the Bluetooth set up not a problem ,I have the music streaming from my iMac .i bought Denon ceol speakers also to go with it as I don’t want too intrusive speakers in my living room, they are very good also and the base is great ..but the low mids could be better ,a sub woofer is recommended but I can live without it for this …heart upon my sleeve from Avicci is brilliant on this system ,I am so happy with this Denon amp ,I haven’t tried my turntable yet …I will let you know how it goes …definitely recommend .update…turntable works well ,I have it connected to amp via cd inputs because phono has a hum ,may need to be grounded via wire connection..but working fine atm .

An excellent piece of equipment
Beautiful looking amplifier, excellent sound using my Mission speakers, remote control gives a smooth increase or decrease of volume, in all an excellent piece of equipment.

Great sound and look
A great replacement for my old 1970's amp, all the same features and controls plus more. Exactly the same dimensions as my old tuner and record deck so stack looks great. Enjoying being able to stream music from my phone through my vintage speakers bringing the whole system into the 21st century.

Not a bad amplifier for the money at all, and you could do much, much worse...
I have had the Denon for a bit over 2 and a half months now, plenty of time to get some good listening in. The PMA-600 is definitely not a bad amplifier for the money at all, and you could do much, much worse. Admittedly I only use the digital inputs and the 'Source Direct' options because my library is purely digital and I have a lot of lossless files (FLAC, ALAC, and a few dozen or so in WAV format). I have been quite pleased with how it drives my little Wharfedale Diamond 9.1 monitors when either listening quietly or when I have cranked the volume a little bit from time to time. The Bass, Trebble and Balance controls are only accessible on the amplifier itself however, and for most this could be an issue (unlike myself, as I like my music 'unadulterated' so to speak) this is mirrored on the remote by the lack of these controls (I only use the remote to turn the unit on/standby, select a source and raise/lower the volume anyway). The audio through the speakers can sometimes sound a little soft when playing more detailed music (never 'muddy' though) but, in my opinion, that's better for listening for extended periods, rather than making music sound overly harsh/detailed 'raking' at your poor eardrums. Headphone output seems more than adequate to drive my Sennheiser HD 660s' and the audio seems to retain its original detail (although this could be the headphones themselves). Now, I know there are better, more equipped and MUCH more expensive amps on the market, but for what I paid for this amplifier, I must say that I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Great sound from a good value Amp.
Bought this to replace an ancient Kenwood Amp. Connected to a pair of Bose Cube speakers and Sub-woofer. I am no audiophile but the sound output and power is excellent from phono and Bluetooth connection to phone. The main revelation was that you can connect via Bluetooth to our Sky Glass TV and in the TV settings have the sound both from the TV soundbar and through the Amp to external speakers. This adds massive depth and quality to the sound from the TV - which wasn’t bad to start with. Overall great sound quality, whatever the input. Really easy to set up and connect via Bluetooth. Would recommend.

Brilliant sound quality.
I like the elegant design & adequate powerful output. Sound quality is definative with clear treble and warm bass particularly with CD playing.

BROKE AFTER JUST TWO YEARS
DO NOT buy this amplifier. Mine broke after just two years of only occasional use. Out of nowhere the unit went into protective mode and once there it could not be reset. Denon did not want to know about taking it back and just told me to send it to one of their two UK recommended repair outlets at my cost of about £100 for inspection and postage. No thanks. I have found a much better brand now.

Powerful, capable
I bought a similar model about 20 years ago, and it's still working well, but I wanted something for the main living room after the CD tray on a smaller (Denon) unit began to have problems. I couldn't be happier with its replacement, which as well as offering a useful Bluetooth capability performs brilliantly with my Audio Technica vinyl deck: it has a switch for analogue inputs that bypasses all the digital circuitry. It's easy to set up and a good match for my Mission speakers and old NAD CD deck. It also came with a dramatic price cut v the black version, and I think I prefer the silver version anyway.
