They sound fantastic and are a great value - as long as you receive a good unit
These speakers are fantastic. They sound great and the subwoofer is surprisingly powerful. The sound is clear, crisp, and strong when it needs to be. I thought the speakers seemed a bit weak given their size and weight, but they do not disappoint at all. Even the subwoofer looked small to me, but it delivers great bass.I use these on my PS4 setup, which is hooked up to a computer monitor via an HDMI to VGA converter, which has an audio jack built in; as my monitor has no port or built-in speakers, this is where I plug the Z213 in. I note this because I cannot adjust the volume as liberally as one might on a traditional computer (which I assume most people would use these for), yet I can crank up the volume on the control pod without compromising the sound quality. It's possible that it can still perform well past the limits I am restricted to, but I've not tested that for fear of breaking something. All of that being said, I did have an issue with the set I received initially. After about two weeks of use, sound in one of the speakers cut out intermittently (just the satellite speakers, nothing to do with the subwoofer; that was fine). It would be working, and then all of a sudden, it would stop. Several hours later, it started up again. When setting them up, I was very careful not to damage anything, so something in the wiring was likely the issue. I say this because the speaker that went out wasn't the one that had all of the main cables going into it; it was the one speaker that had one wire going into it, connecting it to the speaker that had everything going into it.I approached Logitech directly after checking everything I possibly could myself - the state of the speakers, the connection points, visible damage, etc. They were very formal and requested information on my specific set - which I provided - and also questioned me on the basics. They asked me about checking the connections, both between the components in the set and with my device (PS4) and other related questions. After informing them that everything was correct and there was no damage, they issued a replacement, which was sent out the same week at no charge whatsoever.Really, you have nothing to lose with this product and everything to gain. It's a great set for a small gaming setup (like mine) and absolutely perfect for a computer setup, especially if you watch a lot of movies on it. Plus, you can't beat the price for two satellite speakers and a subwoofer. If you experience problems, just spend a little time talking to Logitech customer support and they will gladly help you out. This product comes highly recommended!

Fantastic speakers for the price!
For less than $28 shipped via Prime? This speaker setup is fantastic! I was also looking at the Z313, but for having more power, the subwoofer volume didn't appear to be adjustable. This Z213 has a volume dial on the sub which is perfect for my office. I can have external speakers and the sub is icing on the cake, but I had to be sure that the sub itself wouldn't be to boomy. Quite frankly, I see having a volume control for the subwoofer being a poor-man's EQ.The satellite speakers only have a single, sealed 2" driver, but they are crisp without being overly harsh and have decent midrange. The subwoofer does very well with just a 4" driver. They have an excellent sound for this price range! Any speakers in this price range without a dedicated sub just won't compare in the fullness of the sound provided by the addition of the sub.I have my computer audio volume set at 50% and the speakers are probably at 20% which is plenty loud enough for me to hear both the satellites and a little thump from the subwoofer. I turned down the sub just to hear what the satellites do on their own. Verdict, the sub definitely does it job!I especially like the remote volume dial. It have it placed just a couple inches above the top-left of my keyboard. I can quickly slide my hand over and make quick, subtle volume adjustments as needed. For me, this is quicker than using my mouse to slide the volume on the Windows speaker icon and it's more precise than using hotkeys on my keyboard to adjust volume. There's also the headphone jack on the base so if I need to go completely silent but still have my tunes, the headphone jack is right there for a quick hookup. The system auto-senses when something is plugged in and immediately shuts off the external speakers.

Logitech quality, even at $25
I've bought a lot of speakers over the years and got exactly what I've come to expect from Logitech with this purchase: A well-built product that delivers all you could expect for the price-point.I produce music and play games using my personal speakers, but my wife needed a set for her computer and didn't want anything so extravagant. We looked through the Amazon listings, saw this set going for a great price and pulled the trigger. I was fully expecting that I would be upset with what I heard after plugging them in, but we wouldn't have purchased them if I felt my wife's experience was going to be the same. When producing music, you need speakers that are able to faithfully reproduce all the original frequencies, or you end up with a song that has sounds in it you didn't even realize were there. This is a high mark for a set of speakers and, since I knew these would fall short of that (simply by virtue of price), was completely expecting my wife to be happy with them while I cringed.Well, I'm happy to say that I don't grimace when I hear her music from across the room. She's completely happy with them and, from what I can hear, they do a great job of producing mid-range, something usually lacking in products at this price-point with a separate subwoofer. I'd gladly buy this set again given a similar set of circumstances. So, while I'm not going to buy these for music production, I'd quickly recommend them to anyone seeking a better sound experience that doesn't have studio quality expectations. If you want to play games, listen to music and watch movies, and these are in your price range, you won't be disappointed! The amplification is wonderful, the subwoofer is decent and the clarity of sound excellent. If you're listening to your computer through anything less and you move up to this, you'll be blown away. These are the best bet if you're aiming for a set of speakers that cost less than $30.
