Four disparate groups of friends. Different places. Different times. Different lives. Yet, their destinies are inexplicably interwoven, and what happens to any one group will, in the end, affect them all. One Christmas Eve, Hiro Hirono helps Miyako, the victim of a purse snatching, and discovers that she goes to the same school he does. To the dismay of his childhood friend, Kei, Hiro starts hanging out with Miyako. When Renji Asou meets Chihiro Shindou at an abandoned train station, he doesn't notice anything unusual at first. But he soon discovers that she suffers from a rare disease. Shuichi Kuze's been spending time with Mizuki Hayama. As they've been getting to know each other, they've been growing closer. Yuu Himura meets a girl who seems to know him, but he doesn't know her. Soon enough, however, he remembers a girl he met long ago, and begins to rediscover old, half-forgotten feelings. Intertwining fates, tragic, bittersweet and heart-rending combine to form one of anime's most beautifully crafted and emotionally charged masterpieces: ef a tale of memories & melodies. Review: and boy I'm glad I did - At first I was just going to buy both seasons separately when I saw that they had both seasons in one. I was a bit skeptical since no one had written a review of it so I didn't know if I should buy it. Eventually, I decided "what the heck" and bout it, and boy I'm glad I did! The package arrived on time, both seasons were there and they look so good! I always loved these two series so I'm really glad I decided to take the chance and buy it ^-^ Review: Four Stars - way better than I thought it would be

Great series
Unfortunately, Sentai seems to have patched the region lock loophole, which makes it impossible to play with a region B player.

Although the English is horrible, I prefer the Japanese dub, which is amazing. disks came well protected and such.

So if you haven't seen the anime, I'm not going to get much into it. There's better reviews for that elsewhere. The product is alright, the packaging is nothing special, maybe a bit cheap but it does it's job. The subbing is really ugly, and at times it distracts from great visuals the series has to offer. The subbing is especially bad when they're translating the Japanese text(on a phone for example) into english. That being said, it's an amazing anime, and it's a good price compared to before. If you like the anime, you won't regret the purchase. Additionally, if you haven't seen it, if you like animes similar to Clannad, this is probably up your alley.
