Excellent, High Quality American Product
Classic, sturdy, very useful tool set. One of the best out there. Others have copied it over the years. But none that I know of beat it. As a very involved aviation engineer, working in and around every kind of installation task wrt high performance machinery, I bought this when I noticed one of my technicians touting around a scuffed, older looking small case of mini tools. It was the ORIGINAL Chapman ratchet set, much less involved as this one, but still amazing. It was over 25 years old I surmised, and he swore by it. I bought this one immediately, and when I got it, compared it to the older one, and it was very similar, even in the quality and function. His, having seen 25+ years of aviation installation work, looked the same, worked well, and hardly showed the age. The case on the new one is a quality item in and of itself (and this is important if you lug these things around all day in a tool bag, crawling around aircraft and weapon systems), and it is built to the same rock solid form, built like a tank. The case allows for easy accounting of items (necessary for tool control, if you need that). I know I made the right choice. Well worth the price (especially if I can use it for the next 20 years) and it's made in America, proudly indicated by a sticker on the case. One small note though. My handle is not as tight fitting as the original one (25 year old one). By that I mean the chucks (or the extension that is included) do not snugly snap into the handle as tightly as I would like. The chucks and extension can slip out with a little pull out force. It doesn't FALL out, but it is not tightly held as the original or other brands. VERY small nit.

Safely Removes Stubborn Screws!
I am restoring a 19th Century watchmaker's topping tool. It has dozens of screws. Most of them appear to have been installed by the Swiss screw-tightening Olympic team. It quickly became evident that I need to up my screwdriver game if I am going to avoid camming out and damaging screw heads. (I had already ground a custom profile into one screwdriver blade - still no go). So, I set the work aside for a day while Amazon delivered the Chapman 5575 Master Set (thanks Amazon!). I found the price a little daunting but figured, "what the hay? If it works, it's worth it." OMG!!! I own some expensive Bergeon custom profile screwdrivers - these are better. These are easily the best screwdriver blades I've ever used. There is NO danger of camming out. The ergonomics for keeping the blade engaged in the slot are simply superb. I could not be happier!

I wish I had purchased this set years ago!
Just got a Master kit this past weekend and ended up using it for hours on all kinds of machine projects I did not think the tools would be needed for. Great USA-made quality at a fair price. Pride of Made in USA shows proudly on the box.I've owned hex bit sets for a long time, including recent USA-made, Chinese-made sets from the discount bin at the hardware store, forged bits from Europe (Hazet & Facom), and set from the Tool-truck brands (Snap-On, Mac, and Matco). They all have their place but I wish I had bought this set years ago.Having seen these kits before through the years I knew the tools would be good but what was a big surprise to me was the ease of use of the master case. I can see and easily get metric and standard bits out and something as simple as case layout makes a big difference in time and frustration to get my hands on the tool bit I need. The only thing I would change is that I wish the case layout label with the bit sizes was installed as a sticker instead of just a card.

American made quality
First off I will say I was reluctant to purchase this product because of the price. I am very pleased that I finally made the decision to get this tool set. These are the finest tools I have ever owned and I wish I had gotten them sooner. Because of the quality, I am absolutely sure I will never need to spend any more money on cheaply made low quality tools. I would recommend these to anyone in the market for a quality tool set.Update to my review. I broke one of the bits in my set and of course replacements are not available at Amazon. I reached out to the manufacturer and they would sell me one for only 2.00 but I refuse to pay three times the cost of the bit (6.00) so I will just have to look at an empty bit slot every time I use the set.

Nice complete set
Really easy to use, and because this set uses simple 1/4" drive I be able to replace bits as needed more easily than the Wadsworth set (which uses splined bits, not common). I do wish they included a magnetic shaft for the times it is needed to magnetize the bits, but that is easily remedied.

Great tool set!
As a Machinist for 44 years I had access to company provided tools. My brother asked me if I had a Chapman set and I had not heard the name previously. (Don't be mad Jill and Karen, I just needed to be schooled by my older brother) He saw the knock-off set that I had and told me I should invest in a Chapman. I have had nothing but great things to say about the set that I purchased. I used it tonight to remove the Torx screws on my older weather beaten Ring Doorbell mounting screws. When the screws wouldn't budge, I applied a drop of Kroils penatrant and the first screw broke free. The second was not budging so I knew I was taking a gamble on the smallest bit in my set so I was not surprised when it sheered off. I was bummed about losing the bit from my shiny new set but saw that I can order individual bits. I finally had to remove that screw with my Snap-on pliers. I threw those screws out and replaced them with Stainless hardware. I can't say enough about a good quality tool and especially nice to see made in the USA.Well Done Ladies!
