WORKS GREAT AND HELPS WITH BONES, BUT...
This vitamin D is the best vitamin D supplement I have ever used. So many others have given me indigestion and gut problems. Just read the list of binders and fillers on capsules and those hard calcium pills and vitamins! But this vitamin works! This clear liquid vitamin D is so easy to absorb! It does make a difference! One drop equals 400 IU's. For infants, or children, they say to have only one drop. Adults, by the FDA says adults are supposed to have 800-1200 IU's a day with none deficiency and vitamin D deficiency. But other sources say 600 IU's a day. Here's the drawback. I took the higher dose for a week or so because my tests came back very low in vitamin D. So I started this and slowly upped the dosage to give my levels s boost. But after this high dose, I started having anxiety, rapid heart rate, and felt very uneasy and lack of sleep.I found out later that vitamin D is the only vitamin that is also a hormone steroid! It has some unpleasant side effects if you take too much! It is also stays stored in your system, for months. Your body takes the vitamin D and stores it in your body fat and is metabolized by the liver and kidneys. Too much isn't good but just enough and it works great! And just because it comes in baby doses doesn't mean it is any different for babies and adults. You body needs only so much of this steroid hormone which it uses to process calcium absorption. All the cautions aside, this supplement works! My bone density became much better and after adjusting the dose, everything worked out. My joints, teeth, and bones felt better. I dropped the dose down to 1-2 drops daily, one in the morning and one at night. And some days I skipped if I didn't need it.I would say this is a great product and worked for me. But remember that vitamin D is the only vitamin that is also a steroid. Be careful and especially if giving it to infants and children. But it does work, is easily absorbed, and I continue to use it.

My Go-To Vitamin D3 for My Child’s Health
The media could not be loaded. I love this vitamin D3 supplement. It was recommended to me by one of my daughter’s specialists, and it’s one of many supplements that is part of her medicine regimen. It’s a great medication, and I’ve been using it for a few months. I’ve bought it multiple times.I will say that some reviews mention the drop takes forever to fall, and sometimes it does, but I don’t see that as a bad thing. The dosage is only one drop, so you don’t want a bunch to come out at once. However, as shown in the video, some days it goes easily and quickly.Overall, it is a great supplement, and I recommend it to anyone looking for vitamin D3 for their little ones.

So glad I discovered this product!
With my first son, I was told to give him Poly-vi-sol to get his Vitamin D while breastfeeding. His pediatrician explained that it tastes like an old lock. He advised to mix it with milk to disguise the flavor and make sure he drinks entire bottle to get full value of vitamin. With my second son, he told us that there is a better option. D-vi=sol. Yes, a much needed upgrade. Finally just Vitamin D and no added nastiness! I could put in straight into his mouth! For the first three months I used this with much happiness, except the price... Even through amazon, I was paying around eight to ten for 50days worth. There had to be a cheaper way!I stumbled across the Carlson drops. At first glace they seemed more expensive. I was only looking at price per volume, not price per dosage. You only need one drop per day... I was floored! It must taste horrible... FLAVORLESS!!! Bonus! No more drinking an entire bottle to get Vitamin D, no more struggling to get baby to swallow liquid from a dropper, no more sticky spit around mouth after baby spits some out, no more wondering if by spitting some out that they did not get enough Vitamin D!!! I just drop a single drop onto a paci or the bottle nipple and without baby even knowing it, they got their daily amount of Vitamin D!The only recommendation I would give is to make sure your baby is ready to open mouth for paci/bottle with drop on tip so all gets into their mouth. I have even gone so far as to drop it directly into his mouth when I saw an opportune moment that he had it wide open. He had no clue and no disruption in our day!Instead of every few months buying more, I now have enough for the entire time!Yes, I am in love... it's the little things!Update Nov. 15th-Amazon has just informed me that they will no longer carry this product in their subscribe and save program... still a good deal...
