Craftsman CMHT82345 48IN I-Beam Level

This Craftsman 48-in aluminum level is perfectly nominal in every way one expects from this tool.However...The level arrived missing one plastic endcap. I anticipated this likelihood so I ordered two levels. I now posses a perfectly nominal Craftsman 48-in aluminum level with both endcaps. Meanwhile, Amazon Warehouse receives (another) Craftsman 48-in aluminum level missing one plastic endcap.

First one arrived with an end cap missing (as I've seen in other reviews), not in the box either. Ordered a replacement, arrived the next day with both end caps. I like the price, weight, features, etc. Thumbs up.

Works well. Its very light and doesn't seem as durable as the one it replaced which was over 20 years old but I think I'll still get many years of service out of it.

This level feels to be built quite nice with a little bit of a "multi-tool" vibe, as it can do various different measuring tasks. It works great and allowed me to hang things nice and level on the walls, as well as it worked really good as a long straight edge for cutting plywood. Not sure how long it will hold up if it is abused, but for the average homeowner, it is a must buy.

Reordered and now this is a great level! Very good quality and it is so convenient to be able to look at the bubble from the top when leveling the soil at ground level (of course on top of a 8' straight 2x4. Having to get on my knees with a conventional side view killed my back and knees. -- Old review: I received this level in a perfectly undented box missing one of the black plastic end caps (of course it was not in the box at all). It looks like a well made tool and I will most likely bump up the stars if I could return and get another one but this product is no longer available. Very strange. Hopefully it will be back in stock soon.

I bought this for my husband and he loves it! He loves the design and the accuracy of the leveling. It's easy to use.

Nice level

The level seems to be a great value for the price you spend. However, it arrived with the end plastic piece missing. As you can see one side has it and the other side it doesn't.

Unlike other reviewers, mine arrived with both plastic endcaps on it. Very slightly scuffed on one edge, but not on the straightedge side. Extremely lightweight, certainly not heavy-duty, but does not appear warped in any way. Unbeatable for the price, and perfect for occasional use.

Like multiple buyers l received the level missing end cap..Not on level or in box !!! Contacted seller no response???
