Any chance I get I will tell someone about GreenSheild Laundry soap. I discovered GreenSheild prior to my daughter being born about 2 years ago. What I loved is I never had to pre-treat any of my daughters clothes and we all know with a baby you have tons of spots on their clothes at the end of the day. Never pre-treated anything, never had a problem with stains. Fast forward two years and we were moving and I didn't have a chance to place an order online, I was at the store and needed detergent so I picked up another brand that is also high on the EWG.org site. How very dissappointed I was. I have an entire load of my daughters clothes that the food spots didn't come out of. I'm now trying to treat them and ended up tossing the other detergent and went back to Greenshield. They have fabulous customer service and this laundry detergent seriously is ever mom's dream. A clean product not full of crap and chemicals, does what it's supposed to do, and just makes my life a lot easier. I'm glad Greenshield is growing. I highly recommend this product!

This stuff is crap. It doesn't clean clothes or remove any smells at all. You literally would be better off using your own urine to wash your clothes.

Honestly i was skeptical but this was the best switch I have ever made. Don't be alarmed it doesn't suds up but is really cleans even in cold water. I notice my skin is so much more calm and less ichy. 10/10 highly recommend

My wife and I have always liked this detergent as it's has minimal ingredients. There was an issue with my bottle being damaged during shipping and the seller responded quickly sending me a new bottle which arrived as expected.

This is organic which is important to me. The fact that it has NO odor at all is just as important. It is a bit pricey, but I tried a couple other brands over the years and was extremely unhappy, so I came back to Green Shield. My clothes come out clean and odor free. I do not use any kind of softener, either in the wash or in the dryer. Clothes that are extremely soiled or stained require pre-wash spray and/or oxygen bleach. Clothes that have to be disinfected require the addition of a little chlorine bleach. An example of that would be the white socks worn by a person who is fighting toenail fungus. My main complaint is that they changed the formula and now you have to use more of it - per the instructions on the bottles. Obviously the main change was to water it down, like then people would not know they were paying more per laundry load. Shame, shame.

Had less bad chemicals in it than most laundry soaps. Love that it's unscented. Cleans laundry great.

I began using this for my newborn since babies have sensitive skin and have repurchased and used it many times since. I appreciate that it is free of a lot of nasties, scents included. I simply wish it worked better. Yes, it washes our clothes, but it hasn't been great with removing stains and some smells, even with pretreatment and spot cleaning. I keep giving it chances because I want to love it for working as much as everything else I appreciate about it but I'm just left disappointed when I have to use more than one cupful for a load that comes out disappointing me. Especially when its basically just food or light dirt from an 18 mo old running or walking around outside collecting rocks. Don't think I can justify the cost moving forward unless they come out with a spot treatment to go with it or improve the formulation.
