This weight set is just what I needed for the house. I don't need a lot of weights to keep in shape. This set is great.

My 2 plates were 44lb and 44.2lb, so I wish they were a little closer to 45. But you won't find a better price for new weights, $33 is an amazing deal.

This comes in three separate packages, and Amazon has failed twice to get all the packages here. I am now waiting for the third time to get the Barbell. Weights aren't much good without a bar to put them on. The weight plates look nice though.

I would have given it 5 if it wasn't for the package being returned the first time. I waited over the labor day weekend only to find out one of the plates have been returned. I was really upset as it started to sound like my experience with Walmart where I had to wait over a month and they cancelled the order. So I wasted about 45 days with Walmart. But these guys were super fast and after reorder second time, I received in just 2 days. Now the product itself, it's legit. I feel like I'm back at my gym pre-covid experience. I don't smell anything y'all need to stop whining. If looking for serious weight plates these will do.

I ordered just the bar, since I already had weights and an old tubular bar that was beginning to show signs of bending. This bar is plenty strong, and I can't imagine it bending with the approximately 100 pounds of weights I use. The seller's info quotes a weight for the bar of 10 pounds, although elsewhere it says 16 ounces! But when I first tried bench presses with the new bar and about 8 pounds less weight than I had been using, I felt like a wimp. Turns out the bar weighs 12 pounds according to my scale. I have not had any problem with the nuts coming loose--they spin easily, but if you twist them against the plates, they stay put. Although that could be because as I have it set up, the outer weights are vinyl coated (not bare steel), so maybe that gives a bit more friction.

I needed more weight and found these weights at a great price. They do their job and now I have 270lbs to work with and challenge myself on some new goals. Are they going to match your other weights? No. Are they 45lbs? Yes.
