I bought several of these and used the first one to install a PoE camera on the side of my home. I already had the outlet and wiring, but needed a waterproof receptacle to run the cable and allow some flexibility. These units are really innovative; they have an opening which when put in the bottom allows cable to come out without letting water get in. They are flexible enough to allow movement and easy installation, and they look really nice, to boot! I'm glad I found these. I have several more cameras to install and I'll continue to use these. This camera has been up for 6 months or more, and there's been zero water ingress despite some pretty torrential downpours during that time.

I was looking for a solid expandable outdoor outlet cover that would allow me to install an A/C powered camera outside. This cover fit the bill. After plugging in, you run the wire out of the little hole on the bottom right hand side. Then you press the lid closed and feel it snap firmly into place. The sides of the unit expand sort of like an accordion so you can expand or compress to get the perfect fit for your plug while also keeping the elements away from the outlet. The little window also helps so you can keep an eye on outlet conditions. It definitely is worth spending the couple extra bucks to get this unit. The difference in quality really shines through. I'm very confident that no water will be getting into my outlet at *all* with how solidly this unit seals shut.

Very nice, low profile outlet cover. Very easy to install, only about 5 minutes. I have a 90 degree plug into it and it sits very flush against the wall. Great protection from the elements.

Easy to install (took me less than 10 min following the instructions) and very good looking. One plug/wire works very well. But if you want to have two plugs/wires coming out the space they have is too small and the pressure exerted on the wires and the plugs is not great - this is why I gave it only 4 starts.

I got this to provide power to my outdoor tv. As you can see I also used a 90 degree adapter to route the cord down and out of the device--there is an opening at the lower left where the cord can exit. It worked perfectly. I did caulk around the device where it meets the junction box in the wall. I painted the caulk to match and it works well and looks great!

. . .even for someone who has no prior experience doing anything, “electrical.” It’s just, select the frame that matches your outlet configuration - it comes with three different frames - two screws, and you’re done. And, it really works to keep the outlet dry. Very well-made product.

This product has replaced my previous version of the same product. After 7 years or so, the rubber ended up ripping. I replaced it with this new one. It’s almost exactly the same. Hopefully, for this one, the rubber will last longer than 7 years. Very easy to install.

A review of the "expandable cover" which is a good cover. I gave 4 stars, in stretch, since the plug I am using (220V) has a large plug/cord and the "expansion" is not quite enough to close. The one lacking, I found, was the cord hole, the hole allows Wasps and spiders to climb inside. The solution was adding a 1/2 inch foam insulation to the cover. I used 1/2 inch wide and tall roll of black "open cell" foam. I cut a half inch off and used the sticky side to stick to the door just below the rubber edge. The foam keeps out bugs, allows water to drain (open cell) and compresses/ expands around any cord.

It was easy to install and works great. I bought it because it extends so it makes it easier to plug in any kind of cables. If I replace any of my other outdoor outlets, I'll probably buy this one again. I'd certainly recommend it.

Good product, was sent the wrong colour however so haven’t used it yet but have others around our home

It works as expected but, don't lift the cover up too high or the lid will snap off and there is no way to fix it. Maybe, proper hinges or springs or something could help make the cover more sturdy, especially in winter.
