Connecting two kits together (by Archimedes' ghost)
Great product both the blower and this extension kit. Works great for blowing off 1 story gutters. I am addressing the idea of connecting two extension kits (8') together to make a 16' capable of blowing a 2 story gutter. Yes it works. Manufacturer does not recommend this and the reason is if you go non-vertical then the tube will bend and while I will not try to give you something in arc radians I will say it bends like a fly-rod with a decent sized steelhead on-hook. But it does not break if you are careful. So some of you are thinking "can I use this to blow-off a roof from the ground?" - my answer is 'no' because you will find at an angle off-vertical that it bends too much but also because even if you manage that by say laying it on the roof and rolling it along what happens is, and this is a little Wiley Coyote, the leaves will just blow to the other pitch and you will be playing ping pong with yourself. If you could suck, it might be a different answer. As a PSA to all you elderly out there that are trying to avoid getting up on a roof two or three times a year, do the old trick of getting a 30' extension pole from home schleppo with a push broom thread on the end and just "pull-sweep" the roof off. That or send your kids up but only if you are looking for a quick divorce with loss of custody (joke).

This is the best thing that's happened in a while...
I had a Ryobi blower and the battery seriously lasted 5 minutes. It was a nightmare. I received this yesterday and I can't even discharge the battery if I try. I went all over my property and did a year's worth of blowing, and I was so pleased with this blower. The power is amazing, the size is perfect, the weight is not light but it's all in the battery and even for me, a 5'3" petite woman, it was manageable. Hands-down, it's worth the extra weight to have a better battery and more power. WOW. I can't even explain how great this blower is, you would have to try it for yourself but I am confident that if people saw me with it, they would likely feel quite inadequate with just about any other blower. It's really THAT powerful. After my struggles with the cheap Ryobi blower, I was very apprehensive about getting another cordless blower - but then I realized, previously, I had bought the cheapest, worst blower available without doing any research. Now, I have probably overcompensated and got a super-powered blower that may not be necessary but I sure enjoy using it - it makes the job easy. AN UPDATE It's been a few months since I got this and I am still impressed with the power and battery efficiency. I do not at all regret going on the over-powered side for this item. I use it at least twice a week and I am able to quickly clear areas of leaves and debris. It's so powerful I can blow gravel back into plant beds. The design is great. I don't really use the variable power knob, I just squeeze the trigger, but I love how you can get a little or a lot of power with the trigger. I also like the power boost, it's easy to access during use, and it gives you a nice boost when needed. The battery charges quickly considering how much time you get out of a full charge. I am very pleased.

EGO Gutter Cleaner
I'm not a typically high rater. To get five stars, you have to do something to knock my socks off. 4 stars means GOOD. I had already investing in a competitor's blower and gutter cleaning system when I picked up an EGO blower fairly cheap. I already had a EGO lawn mower so I had batteries and chargers. The blower was definitely more powerful than the corded unit I had. After messing around dragging cords around I thought I would try the EGO Gutter system. In general, I do like the EGO products. Nothing special about the gutter system; a bunch of ABS type plastic pipes that 'screw' together and attach to a blower adapter, much like my previous system. The pipes are definitely bigger that the ones I already have and they aren't going to be interchangeable. My original unit has a rotating 'cuff' attachment at the point of connection to the blower so you can easily change the direction of the top curved blower. The EGO system does not. In their case, they have a 'pseudo' (plastic indentations) pin locking system at the top that you can adjust the top blowers with. The original unit would occasionally disconnect as I was trying to rotate the correct blowing direction. The EGO is a little harder to pull down and adjust, but it won't disconnect either. Not sure which system I like better, yet. With the original system, I did have to replace a couple of the pipes when they broke at the connector. I'm not sure how EGO will standup for durability. The EGO blower is a definitely more powerful blower and therefore did a little better job than the original. I do have to wear goggles to prevent flying debris with either system and take a shower afterwards! They both got the job done, but I'm liking not having to deal with extension cords!! The EGO is a GOOD product and so far no significant faults.

Smart Idea Done Simply, but...
... it takes some practice and adjustment to fully utilize it. It does connect together well and I can reach all angles of my gutters from the ground. That said, once everything is locked down and ready to go, the blower it self is upside down, and I often have to maneuver it near my head. I do wear ear protection and I strongly recommend it. Because the head is turned to the side to blow out a gutter, it does like to unwind itself from the blower, especially when hitting the turbo button. Others have noted this and modified the unit, but I found that if I just wait until I have the head in the gutter before turning the blower on and removing it only after turning it off, everything will remain nice and tight. A little awkward at times, but whenever you put a high volume exhaust at the end of a long pipe, it's gonna be bloody awkward! That said, it does do a nice job and it means I have to go up on the roof less often than I used to, which Sweetie likes very much. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing. It's light but sturdy, and screws on perfectly to the machine. I have used it at least 6 times already mostly because it works so well and is just plain fun. The ego blower shoots the leaves and debris (and water) out of the gutter at a great speed, so make sure you have the angle just right or you'll get a shower. It easily can blow the leaves 10-15 feet out of the gutter. All the neighborhood dad's are impressed. Get it.

This is a great unit. It fits my Dewalt blower perfectly. At full power it unscrews the elbow,so a small screw through the joint stops this. It's very rigid and does a good job. This beats the hell out of climbing ladders.Very happy with it.

This works great - delivered on time. It cleans out the lower level eavestroughs perfectly using my Ego leaf blower. Have already done 3 neighbours. The first use overs 1/2 price of hiring someone - And its about $4,000.00 cheaper than a leaf filter/guard. Should have purchased this years ago. The price is a bit higher than I hoped is the only reason I gave it 4 stars.

Cleans out my gutters like I thought it would, don't need to climb the ladder.
