More bite for rock tones
I have used these picks for years but never tried the thicker gauge. I am a creature of habit and tend to stick with what I know so it was always the orange .60 gague for me. Thought I would try out some thicker plectrums after reading a bit about tone. These really make me attack lead sections in a more aggressive way and the stiffness of the 1.14 gague brings out some extra bite and brightness, I'm converted. They are more durable than the thinner gagues, the point on them stays intact for longer. The coating on the tortex picks ensures they won't slip from your grip and they are the perfect size between your fingers. I have 9's on my Tele and feel that these are a little too heavy handed for that guitar, they are best suited in my opinion to string gagues of 10 or above.

Perfect Picks
What can you say about guitar picks....? These Tortex 3 picks are the perfect size and shape for me and it’s taken me years to find something of this fit and feel that feels just right. They have got a nice sharp point for clear clean picking and I will keep using this model from now on because the Tortex 3 shape has actually helped me improve my picking hand technique. Pick shapes and gauges are entirely all a personal choice of course. I like the dry grippy feel of the Tortex picks when they are new.

Plectrum is nice to play, but the color goes off and you end up with dark fingers the first few times. Might be not an original as I never experienced that before with Dunlop.

Real Dunlop picks just like the overpriced ones in the music stores. Much value getting a dozen for such a good price. Grips just like they always have. Legit item not a cheap knockoff.
