Totally misleading
These ARE NOT COMPOSTABLE. It’s a total disgrace that they can be sold as such. I would forgive the crap coffee if they were. Don’t bother with them

Nice smooth coffee.
This is a nice smooth coffee. Rated at 4/5 strength but I see it as more of a 3/5.That doesn't mean it's weak or lacking flavour, it has a good flavour, just not much strength. Before trying these my usual pod was a 5/5 but if I'm honest they were a bit harsh in flavour and I prefer these.Another thing is that my machine is a "Nespresso compatible" machine from a supermarket.Sometimes it fails to pierce the foil on the pod but these Amazon pods are made of white plastic with a paper 'lid'.This is much easier to use in my machine. There is a certain brand that do aluminium pods - I just can't use those. We but pods from the supermarkets in packs of ten but it's so much better dipping into a box full of pods for your morning cuppa. I'd like to have a few flavours lined up in these big boxes.

Love the compostable capsules but where's the flavour?
I really like the fact that these capsules are compostable, I do wonder how many of the original style capsules are recycled? These fitted in our Magimix Nespresso machine perfectly (not always the case with non-original capsules) and while brewing the aroma has got a nice toasty, nutty quality to it but I just find the flavour lacking.I tried it with two capsules and this was better but the whole point of a Lungo is that its supposed to be a longer/larger coffee than an espresso. With two capsules used I agree with the packaging in that it is a rounded coffee but I don't pick up any of the acidity they claim.I have to say they offer excellent value for money but I will be going back to my regular capsule which is the Happy Belly Ristretto, with two of these capsules I get a much tastier long/large coffee.I hope you find my review helpful.
