This cake smoother is definitely effective and easy to use, especially if you're looking for something taller and sturdier than standard plastic ones. The thick acrylic material helps achieve smooth, clean sides on taller cakes, and it's a step up from flimsier alternatives. However, the edge isn’t as sharp or thin as some might prefer for precision work, and I’ve seen reports (and experienced myself) that it can chip after just a couple of uses, which is disappointing. It's also a bit tricky to control with one hand due to the size and weight. Overall, it’s a solid tool for casual cake decorating, but if you’re looking for long-term durability or professional use, it may fall short.

I honestly thought this would be a thin piece of plastic but when it came it was very thick and easy to use. It's also very tall so you can use it on any size cake, which makes it easier than the shorter ones that have more seams you have to fix.

I wish I had ordered this much earlier when I noticed many bakers using this in their video tutorials. The sharp edge really helps in making my cakes come out smoother. 5 stars for the sturdiness. I'm an intermediate cake decorator, but this is perfect for any level baker.

this scrapper works great but the edges get damaged really easy. the tinniest dent in it shows up on my cakes. my metal one is much better.

I live these scrapers, they help you achieve a very smooth finish on cakes and the edge is sharp! Trust me! I got an ouchy from it. My only issue is that they are pretty high maintenance. Meaning that they will chip or crack easily. I'm about to order my 3rd one because of this issue. I'll just have to treat it like a princess and with tweezers lol

I so loved this scraper. I have a hard time holding when my carpal tunnel is acting up. But it does a great job. Someone stole it out of my tool box so I guess it really is a great tool.

Me gustó mucho porque es de material grueso y resistente, pero el plus que tiene es que en la orilla se va adelgazando, dando una facilidad para poder crear un alisado perfecto en el pastel. Todos los alisadores que compraba antes eran mu gruesos y no me dejaban bien los pasteles, y este todo una maravilla.

Compré este para hacer pasteles altos. Es grueso, bastante resistente. Lo único es que me cuesta trabajo manejarlo porque sí es grande. Pero con paciencia, queda un alisado perfecto
