it really is a mist . its interesting. the shower head is quiet heavy and normal holders will struggle to hold it. it has 3 settings . I use the pressure smaller output one. the quality is top notch. however if your pressure is low then you are out of luck. its best of install some Philips shower water pre filter £20ish before connecting this . and when you are replacing the showere head then its also time to replace the shower hose . I will recommend the 75kg tensile strength metal version of grohe shower hose. the shower hose will also be quiet heavy so espically the 2m version. . there is no splatter or splashes on the floor if you let the shower run on the floor. i just wish I had more pressure. the Philips pre filter allows a max of 9l/min . this shower requires 16l/min type of thing for the full experience. you shouldn't run this without the pre filter as the water exit holes are going to be a mess to clean later on. so this type of thing is only meant for houses that have actual whole home water filter systems. and some really good water booster pumps installed like Scala 2 type of things.

Very nice rainfall type shower head. Do mind that It does need 1bar+ of pressure to work and wont work well on gravity fed systems at all.

Amazing powder rain option. Whole family just love it. In the beginning I thought that is just good shower head but it’s definitely more. Highly recommend

As with most Hansgrohe products the price is higher than the competition, but you get what you pay for. Good build quality, button press to change rather than having to twist the head, great shower experience, and easy to clean. There's 3 modes, one gentle rain, one intense rain, and a mono rain (a cylinder of water that doesn't splash which is quite cool, but I'm not sure what the usecase is). Knocked one star off for the price, but it's worth splurging on.

Therefore, it needs regular cleaning otherwise flow of the water gets really weird and goes all over and the jet becomes unstable. Not suitable if you’re water pressure is low or even medium. You can refer to online resources how you can make a simple pressure test at home it just needs a jug and a timer. Mine was between average and high so I bought the unit. Really happy with the purchase expect the high maintenance of the limescale problem.

The build quality is excellent, but I just can’t get used to the spray. I bought this to replace my previous Hansgrohe hand shower (Chrometta 100 Vario), which eventually got blocked by limescale. Compared to that one, the PowderRain setting on this model is simply too soft—I really miss the stronger pressure of my old shower head. PowderRain is pleasant, but only if you enjoy a very gentle, mist-like spray. I wish it were just an optional mode alongside Rain and IntenseRain rather than the main experience. Unfortunately, it just doesn’t suit my preference for a more powerful flow.

The shower head is shaped so the water sprays into itself, while its a much lighter mist than a normal shower head you do end up with only a small area of your body getting wet, Great I guess if you have a small corner shower but for anything else it seems an odd decision. Most shower heads Bow out, I guess hansgrohe wanted to be different

Quality showerhead, that gives a great and comforting shower. We attached this Hansgröhe head to a Gröhe hose, which was absolutely fine (no leaks). It's also fed by a Gröhe thermostatic tap, which offers a good water pressure. The head has three types of spray - wide (full width of the head) central (inner spray) and running water (like water from a tap). Selecting these three settings is very easy and can be done with your eyes shut (required during hair washing) just press the recessed button at the neck of the handle - each press changes the spray. The spray is comfortable and not aggressive, like some showerheads. I would add, this showerhead probably requires a decent water pressure, to offer a satisfying shower. Weak water pressure is likely to disappoint. Our water pressure is normally very good. The product came well packaged, as expected and protected by various materials. An excellent showerhead, that was a significant improvement over the previous one.
