Microwave egg cooker
Works like stated and expected! Ideal for quick protein breakfast. I do a combination of 20 second intervals when I open up the pieces and do 4 eggs! Easy clean when use butter or oil spray. Bought another one after my daughter-in-law used it and loved it. Hoping my teen grandkids might eat a better breakfast!

Best thing going. Make a quick breakfast.
Easy to use. I've got it down to a routine. Spray a dab of oil, spread it around, put in bacon bits and cheese, add egg, pierce yoke, and put in microwave for 110 seconds. Comes out perfect every time. Egg pops out of the poacher and super easy to clean. I've had mine for years, but recently purchased more for family members. They all love them.

You know what, some issues, but I actually like this thing
Was 3 stars, but after I typed out my thoughts, nah, 4 stars. Maybe even 4.5.I've tried 4 different microwave egg poachers. The first two were unsatisfactory. Model #3 has been great, got two and use 'em all the time. Wanted to get a couple more and got the dreaded "currently unavailable, don't know when/if it will be back in stock". So, scrolled thru a bunch more and got this one,The Good News:--It works. Actually works a bit better than my others, i.e., the eggs actually come out a bit better.--It's incredibly simple. The Bad News:--The hinges are terrible. This is made of a SOFTER type of hard plastic, so the plastic-on-plastic hinges lock up all the time. I initially thought "Well, maybe it's not supposed to open flat", but if it didn't it would be unusable. So, I squeezed the hinges together and "voila", it opened . . . only to immediately lock up again when I tried to close it. That's a non-starter.Soooooooo . . . did a little critical thinking. This thing doesn't seal airtight -- none of the 4 I've used do. But it doesn't need to seal to work. So . . . I just cut the hinges off. The top and bottom (The bottom is differently shaped and is obviously designed to be the bottom) still mate perfectly and I have gotten nothing but great eggs. I'm actually going to buy another one.Go figure.I've read a number of the other reviews and I had pretty much all the same problems, but I decided to see if I could work around the hinges. Turns out I could. There is probably the perfect microwave egg poacher out there somewhere, and I'm still gonna look for it. This one isn't "the one", but, frankly, as I modified it, it's pretty darn close.

Pierce your yolks folks!
Great little poacher for when you need a quick snack in about a minute +/- Always remember to pierce the yolks or you’ll be cleaning egg explosion from the inside of your microwave. And never clean it in a dishwasher. It warps the hinges and it won’t close properly.

Not the best egg poacher.
I bought this egg poacher with the highest of expectations since it was from Nordic Ware.I received it on March 8, 2024 and began using it the next day, March 9, 2024, and I used it every day since then. The first thing I noticed, was that the 2 parts did not shut completely, But I continued to use it.I would use two large eggs, put 1/4 teaspoon of water in each egg, poked each egg yolk with a fork, and cook it for 57 seconds on high, I do not like runny yolks at all, and then let it sit for 30 seconds. The eggs came out like I wanted, sometimes I tried it for 56 seconds, but the yolks were a tiny bit runny. On April 9, 2024, I went to clean the egg poacher, and the hinge broke! Of course, my 30 day return period ended on April 8, 2024.Today is April 11, 2024, and I used the egg poacher for lunch. It seemed to work just OK but not as good as it did.I will probably continue to use it, until I find a better way to make my hard yolk poached eggs in the microwave. This is the second microwave egg poacher that I have bought from Nordic Ware.On the first one, the two parts did not close completely either. That is why I decided to buy a new one.It isn’t the best egg poacher, but it was relatively inexpensive and it was shipped quickly.

Nordic Ware 2 cup Egg Poacher
I don't usually write product reviews. This is Brilliant! I have tried various methods to poach eggs; bought other 'contraptions' over the years, with very little success. Because this was so inexpensive and the reviews sounded encouraging, I thought I would try ONE more product.... FINALLY I can make the perfect poached eggs - just follow the easy tips to use correctly. This morning - Eggs Benedict - as good as any I've ever had in restaurants. Now I can make them in 1 minute at home! Thrilled.

Waste of money
I bought this because it cooked two eggs and was cheaper than the one I had. The pockets are not deep enough to hold an egg and when I put it in the microwave, it blew the egg up and I had a mess all over my microwave. I cooked for the time recommended. Throwing this away and spending a little extra for one I know works well.

EASY WAY TO COOK EGGS!
This egg poacher is such an easy way to cook eggs. Just grease the cups, put your eggs in and put in microwave for 2-3 minutes, depending on how soft/hard you like them cooked. It's easy to clean too, but wouldn't recommend putting in the dishwasher as it may warp the lid. Easy, though, to wash by hand!
