1st thing to know, is it takes a full day to get shape/form. I was worried after a few hrs when it was still squished and lumpy, but the next day it was like the pic.I'm a side sleeper, but after face/neck surgery I needed to lay on my back, elevated, for several weeks. I used this wedge pillow with another soft squishy regular pillow. The elevation, shape, and size were perfect. It didn't have a bad smell or anything.My back was a teeny bit sore for a few days the first week, but that may have happened anyhow. I wasn't laying on it for my back, I was more concerned about face. So it's possible I wasn't up far enough.I've now been using it every night for 2 and a half weeks. It doesn't bother my back anymore. It has been an absolute necessity. I'm very happy with purchase, especially since it was more affordable than similar wedge pillows I saw.If you're getting face or neck surgery, I highly recommend it!

This is wide enough to be able to move, and did not lock in my leg which I found uncomfortable in other products. It was the right amount of firm, and had enough wideness to move my leg around, and to fit my uninjured leg too when i wanted. Too big to carry comfortably on a scooter around the house, but perfect for a bed or couch.

I picked this up for my esthetician table. I always find it hard to lay on my back for extended periods on a massage table, so I figured my clients might be feeling the same way. The bolster that comes with the table might be OK for younger, smaller people, but it usually doesn't cut it for me.It took about a good day before it came fully to life. My son tried it and loved it. It just helps make everything a little nicer for you or your clients. Try it, I'm sure it will be worth it.

Purchased for my dad when he needed to keep his feet elevated when he was in the hospital takes up the whole hospital bed practically just really big to carry around but did the job

I'm a hardcore side sleeper, have been all my life, but I've been trying to train myself to be a back sleeper to help with my low back and hip pain. I figured out after a couple weeks of recliner sleeping that I can sleep on my back actually pretty well IF there's an incline - hence why I bought this pillow, to try to mimic the gentle incline of a laid-out recliner in my bed.This wedge pillow is definitely very sturdy. The fabric cover is comfy enough, but could be softer. My biggest trouble is that it was nowhere near soft enough - it almost needs a pillow top in addition to the memory foam, because the foam alone does not compress enough to provide adequate support to my head and neck.And unfortunately, the incline also was not enough to fully support my back, and I ended up turning on my side to sleep after all. (And then would wake up with an extremely sore neck and headache, because this pillow is DEFINITELY not meant for sleeping on your side.)All in all, might work for some folks' needs, but definitely didn't work for mine.

I put it on each end of the couch to keep the dogs from going back and pulling out the plugs

Glad I bought the 10”; plenty high. A bit firm but serves the purpose well!

This sleep wedge has exceeded my expectations. It’s extremely comfortable coupled with my Tempur-Pedic ergonomic pillow.

Bought this for silent reflux .It’s a good size and perfect tilt .I used a v pillow when I had pneumonia and it sat on it perfectly too providing an excellent support .

The thinner corners were the most squished & the last to expand fully - but they did. No smells for those sensitive. To use it with/without a pillow would be up to individual preference. Would be better if came with an extra cover.

So comfortable. I use it orimarilt for my legs to ease my back
