The right tool for the job
Works as advertised. Just with they'd include this in the mic package as other manufacturers do. Seems like Rode is collecting cash for an item that should have been included with the mic.

Used this on the Rode NTG
Used this to film in high wind with the Rode NTG and it's been very useful. Was able to hear up to four people in high wind crystal clear.

Expensive but worth it
Very effective in shooting in windy conditions. Seems over priced to me but it does work well.

Installation is tough
I don’t know if anyone else had this issue, but squeezing this thing onto the ride video mic ntg was insanely difficult

Better than a foam windscreen
This is a -have for outdoor audio recording with the Rode VideoMic NTG. It blocks wind noise far better than the foam windscreen.

It's a Dead Cat - It Works
What can you say . . . this is a good dead cat. I love the Rode Mic. This really helps in the wind. I use the foam when indoors.
