Perfect replacement

Quality replacement for our tub and shower. Did not come with stop tube. Easy to install.

I was interested specifically in a Moen shower/tub faucet to replace my old Delta, which gave me separate temperature and on/off control. (can't find where they sell that one anymore). I learned a lot through the ordering process: you need to separately buy a valve, a trim kit, and some say a chrome stop tube. I ordered a Positemp valve and trim kit, under the impression that I was getting a valve that not only had a temperature control, but a separate on/off function by pulling on or pushing off the water supply. (all by one control knob). To me, this is a crucial feature to be able to set your temperature then turn on and off the water, without having to - each time you turn on/off - find the temperature, or cycle from the cold cycle to the warmer setting. And be able to set the water flow rate. I THOUGHT that was what I was getting w/ the Positemp, so read the product description carefully! Come to find out that for that feature you have to go to a whole nother Moen line called Moentrol. And, the Moentrol requires a different trim kit so that the holes in the trim plate match correctly. And you don't need the separate stop tube. So I ended up returning my Amazon purchase and buying from a local plumbing supply house since I needed it immediately to get my shower back in service . (at a comparable cost btw - but I'm flabbergasted by the money "they" get for the trim kit - $ 85 - which is probably got $10 worth of materials in it). Meanwhile, the Moentrol valve is an exceptional faucet, giving me all that I wanted in terms of, well, control! Eventually, I found it also available on Amazon, but it was a hard search- hint, search with the keywords volume control.

Replaced our 30 year old Moen Chateau fixture everything fit the same as the old.

Purchased this to install as part of a handyman job. The shower head is plastic and of decent quality (not flimsy or cheap feeling). Tub spout also plastic, definitely feels cheap although it gets the job done. The diverter cover is metal and of good quality; snow flake engraved on right side denoting cold, sun on the left denoting hot. Diverter handle did NOT arrive with the appropriate parts as it was missing the piece that presses into the handle itself giving it a finished look. I tried to reuse the old insert but it was too loose so I ended having to wash and reuse the original I removed… Customer wanted their shower working so I made the best of it. Everything functioned as intended and simple to install. More disappointed in the missing piece than the quality of the product; brand new handle went into the trash. BTW, customer intends to sell their home so I opted for something inexpensive. I wouldn’t purchase and install this set in a home I planned on keeping.

The center cap that covers up the screw on the plastic handle does not lock in place and easily falls out when you operate the faucet. Overall cheap and flimsy. You get what you pay for.....

We moved into an older home recently and this was the only replacement set we could find that fit onto our tub! Looks great and really good quality. No leakage. Good value for the money. The shiny silver is easy to clean. Only downside is the knob to turn doesn’t stay on or turn very well, not sure if it’s how we put it on or because it’s just how it is. It’s loose, but it still works better than anything else we’ve tried!

My showerhead was so clogged, it was basically a dribble head. I found a great replacement online that was super cheap and easy to install, direct fit too. No special tools needed, it just screwed right on and now my shower is amazing! This new one feels way more durable too, so hopefully, I won't have to replace it again anytime soon.

The Moen set looked much nicer than the old set they replaced. Feather touch on and off. Love it

NICE CHROME FINISH FOR THE MONEY.

The trim was as described but it was missing the valve stop piece so I had to purchase this separately from another store. A little frustrating when at a job and need to leave to go and pickup a piece you have already bought.
