This is a great all-inclusive set if you want to get into punch-needling! I will say I have not used everything, but it is good that it comes with a lot of tools. Plus having two needles is very convenient, as one is adjustable so you can decide your size and the other is the typical one. I appreciate that it came with some fabric as well.

Perfect for beginners, just watch some YouTube or tik tok tutorials to figure out how to thread the needle and you’re ready to go!!

Good bang for your buck, but a couple of the items were not amazing. The adjustable punch needle, threaders, sewing needles, and marker are great quality and totally make the kit worth it. The monks cloth provided is pretty low quality, but ok if you are just trying to test out some stitches with the new needles. The wooden handle punch needle makes loops that are a bit too small for my liking, so I prefer the adjustable needle, as I am able to adjust it to the perfect setting. The scissors are too dull and tight to use for very much, but that’s not really why I bought the kit anyways. Overall, I would suggest it if you are just a beginner looking to get a couple tools for cheap, but if you are really counting on all of the components to be great quality, I suggest spending a bit more and buying a kit from Etsy.

Arrived in excellent condition and as described.

After a month of heavy use, my needle broke. I was able to fix it with a tiny piece of tape and finish my project. I still purchased a new one immediately. It’s a good needle. It is plastic, as is obvious in the photos. Don’t expect it to last forever. Once you start using it for large projects on thick/high quality monks cloth, it’s going to break. Use that time to decide if you want to invest in a nice one and what size you would want. There is no better choice for a beginner. Worth every penny.

Comes with wayyy more stuff than I thought! TWO punch needles, scissors, a bunch of needles, cloth... absolutely amazing. You'll need to buy an embroidery hoop to stretch the fabric over and yarn, otherwise, it has everything you need to get started. Lots of bang for your buck. Definitely buying a couple more to give out for Christmas!

The people whose needle broke off at delivery or shortly after are the lucky ones. There's nothing like the feeling of receiving an intact set only to find out it won't work. The needle leaves a gigantic hole in the fabric that standard yarn falls out of immediately, even when you baby the first few stitches. I don't know what the word "embroidery" is doing anywhere near this product, but unless you go in with VERY thick yarn you have no chance whatsoever of your loops staying in the fabric. Anywhere from reasonable to absurd amounts of tension doesn't help. Countless videos on technique don't help. Amazon's finest monk's cloth doesn't help. I can only recommend that you find someone on YouTube having success and buy their exact needle and their exact thread if you're hoping to get started doing this. It's nowhere near as simple as it looks.
