Great for BBS basketweaves!
My '95 Miata M Edition is equipped with factory 15" BBS "basketweave" wheels. Other wheel cleaners get them "sorta" clean, but brake dust and dirt linger in the cracks and crevices. In addition most acidic cleaners can leave a white residue on the clearcoated aluminum outer rims that needs to be polished out. The result? It takes the better part of an HOUR just to get the wheels clean... and that's on a car that gets driven three or four days per week and lives in the garage otherwise. Enter Car Guys. Yes, this stuff is spendy. And no, it's not perfect (more on that later). But it Just. Plain. Works. Application is easy. Car Guys has a thick gel consistency that stays where you spray it. Just spray the wheel with the cleaner, let it sit five minutes and agitate with a soft brush (I use a long wheel brush for the inside face of the spokes and a big soft handled brush for the wheel face). Rinse thoroughly. For stubborn stains or heavy buildup agitate the offending area again and rinse. To stop any water spots I blast the wheels with compressed air after washing to dry them off. Since Car Guys is a gel, it really sticks to the wheels. That leads to the main challenge, which is getting it ALL off the wheels. You can't just hit the wheels with a low-pressure stream of water and expect it to come off easily. A high -pressure nozzle on a garden hose just about does it, but a pressure washer does a better job. My wheels look better than they have since I've owned my car. It takes less time to get them looking good. And getting every bit of dirt and brake dust off means that subsequent cleanings are quicker and they look better between cleanings. That makes Car Guys a winner in my book. The pictures attached are of my 26-year-old wheels after cleaning today. They really do look that good! Update... I bought this stuff back in May. It gets used every two weeks on my Miata (my daily driver has easy-to-clean wheels so I save the good stuff for the BBS wheels). I'm just now ordering another bottle. When the manufacturer says you don't need a lot they really mean it. A little goes a long way, and it still does a great job on my wheels without attacking or otherwise damaging either the painted or clearcoated sections. Great stuff!

The Best Wheel Cleaner I've Ever Used
This product really works! Spray it on the wheel, let it soak into the dirt and grime for 3-5 minutes, take a wheel cleaning brush and scrub the wheel, rince with hose, scrub any challenging places missed on the first scrub, rinse again, and dry wheel. My wheels never looked so good! Finish with Tire Shine by Car Guys on the rubber. A perfect combo!

Not a good product for Chrome Wheels.
Update: I am editing my review because the company has reached out to me and stood behind there product which I respect. They have offered me a refund for the product not working. Like I said this product may work great for other kinds of wheels but I just couldn’t seem to get a good result for my chrome wheels. So I bought this product thinking there was no chance it could not be good. High ratings with a ton of good reviews. I followed the directions for this product exactly as it said on the package. I left it on for about 5 minutes like it said on each wheel then agitated with a clean microfiber towel. I then rinsed thoroughly and dried with another clean microfiber. I began to lose my mind as there seemed to be be either this coating like water spots on my wheels. I should also mention that I have a 2017 Silverado that I’ve only owned for about 8 months and it has been cleaned regularly atleast every 2 weeks even in the winter months. But back to cleaning my wheels. I began to lose mind so much that my now chrome wheels seemed to look worse than they did after just washing them with soap. I went to Autozone and bought the product I had been using since I bought my truck and really liked it but the only reason I stopped was because amazon seemed to stop selling it. I won’t say the brand because it doesn’t matter but with only 15 seconds and some mild agitation with a micro fiber and then hand drying my wheels were back to looking new. I had high hopes for this product and maybe it might work for other types of wheels but I’ll be returning this product or seeking a refund. The pictures I’ve included with the car guys product and then the other brand I used don’t lie. It’s to bad. I had high hopes for this product.

really dirty from brake dust and grime and tar
I originally posted feed back for this product in error under the tire dressing which I also purchased. Since It already was posted here it is again for the right product.Includes Foam Tire Shine Applicator - Tire Dressing by CarGuys Ok, I'm a fanatic when it comes to keeping my rides clean. I ordered this product simply because it was new and I have never seen it before. I just had new tires put on my 2000 BMW 5series with BBS wheels. Was not sure about the product, or whether or not to use it on my wheels. Therefore I took out my spare wheel which was really, really dirty from brake dust and grime and tar. The inside of the wheel had years of buildup of brake dust and whatever, nearly Black on the inside of the wheel. I flipped the wheel over and sprayed the inside with the cleaner, waited about 5-6 minutes. Then used jet nozzle full force to rinse it off. However only a little of the grime came off. I decide to use a wet brush, and I be DAMMED! with very, I mean VERY little effort with the brush the dirt just started to fall off! I then sprayed it again and reapplied the cleaner again since this was a spare wheel. and the wheel is just as clean INSIDE and OUT! and looks almost new, I wished I had taken before and after photos, this stuff has to be the best wheel cleaner out there. I have used them all and none of them compare to this stuff. I still think its a little expensive, but I guess you get what you pay for. needless to say I finished all the wheels and the wheels on my mustang. Regardless of the price I already ordered another Bottle. And thanks you guys for the coupon code!. If you want clean wheels with little effort get this stuff you definitely will not be disappointed.

It definitely improved the look of my rims but it did not get all of the grime from winter driving. I needed a corrosive cleaner to get it all

Did not work nearly as well as advertised, get out your scrub brush and elbow grease. No better than just a household multi purpose cleaner. Lots of money for lots of disappointment
