One of my favorite teas, amazing quality!
This tea is so good I ordered a second bag immediately because I was worried it might become unavailable. It's somewhat similar to silver needle tea in leaf appearance and flavor. The leaf quality is the some of the best I've seen and each leaf is full and flawless, it matches their pictures and is very impressive. The flavor is mellow and it does not get bitter even if the leaves are left in the pot. I highly recommend this, it's one of my favorite teas and will be staying in my rotation as long as it's available.

Surprisingly high end tea
This tea is a very high end dian hong (Yunnan black tea) with beautiful golden leaf exactly as shown. The aroma is malty and the infused flavor is rich and sweet. Try brewing it with cooler water for even sweeter tastes, but a quick hot brew can bring about extra richness while still being sweet. I typically have to order directly from tea companies in Yunnan to get this quality, so I was very surprised to find it on Prime, and for about the same price as if I imported it from China myself. It's rarer that I can whole-heartedly recommend a tea on Amazon, but this one is a no-brainer.

Good Value!
Holds flavor even after 4 brews. The brew time I use: 45 sec for the 1st brew, 1 and a half min 2nd brew, 2-3 mins 3rd brew, 5 mins 4th brew Very rich flavor with flower fragrance

Great tea!
This is by far one of the best red (a.k.a black) teas! Do not scold it with boiling water! 90-95 Celsius. Gong fu stile tea is the best way to enjoy this tea. And you will be rewarded with great aroma, great taste and finish. I am definitely ordering more after I finish this review!

One of my favorite teas.
Good for 3-4 steepings and has great flavor. Consistent quality. Brew at 195-200 and steep for just a few seconds for the first steep, 30 for the 2nd steep, 1 minute for number 3 and 3 mins for number 4. I use about 7-9 grams per serving and use a traditional 220 ml Yixing teapot.

Is this really Yunnan tea?
I don't know how to call this SOMETHING. For sure it has very little in common with good tea. The whole package landed in my garbage can, its proper disposal. I can strongly discourage purchasing this product.

I found it flavorless
I'm surprised and confused. I know tea. Not an expert but long time drinker of various types origins from English to African to Chinese to Sri Lankan. I've got fantastic Yunnan tea ( but bagged not loose) from Amazon, but this tea just is flavorless. Has no ill- flavor-- not bitter nor astringent, so no threat of bad taste because it doesn't have any really. I'm surprised and confused by reviews. The Green Valley ( I believe is the brand) Yunnan / Amazon is pretty good ( not exceptional) and great value. Better than this which is pricey. Another excellent brand ( brand name eludes me now) has been discontinued so I defaulted to this. Just very ho hum. Who wants 14.00 ho hum tea?
