I overpaid for Strivectin primer, $39 and it made my fine lines look like a road map! I had heard a lot of women rave about Elf primer and figured I didn’t have anything to lose buying it, it’s incredibly reasonable. It’s my holy grail in my makeup bag. I can put this on and feel comfortable just with a fresh face. Make up goes on perfectly and stays put. I’ve also tried the pink primer Elf makes and wouldn’t hesitate if I were out of this. I just have very dry skin and prefer the way my skin feels with this one. Please don’t ever discontinue this primer.

I loved this first of e.l.f.! Leaves the skin super hydrated, soft and with a very beautiful and natural finish. Makeup is applied much better and lasts longer without critting. I have dry skin and this product works perfectly for me because it doesn't feel heavy or greasy. In addition, the packaging is practical and yields a lot for its size. I would definitely buy it again, excellent quality for the price.

This is my favorite primer. It's so soft and very effective. Great for the price.

The primer spreads very well, at the risk of dating myself, a little dab'll do ya! It leaves a smooth surface on your skin, but I'm not too crazy about the feeling left behind. It isn't exactly slimy, but it definitely feels different than their pore putty. That is why I only gave it 4 stars. As far as the wear factor, the makeup that I do use tends to be gone by the end of my day. But I also am not heavy handed with my makeup, so that may be a reason why. My makeup does feel greasy to me though after using the primer, so I use a mineral powder to handle that. I don't know if I'll order any more of this particular primer, but I'm also not throwing it away. I prefer the elf putty primer at this point. I'll use the hydrating primer, maybe once I use it more I'll like it better.

I feel like it helps smooth the liquid application of concealer or foundation! It helps from it smudging and it feels soft. That's about it!
