I got this buckle penguin for my 2-year-old granddaughter, and it's been a hit! The quality is fantastic, and she loves playing with it, practicing buckling. She even calls it "Mr. Buckles"! She takes him to ballgames and on car rides. It's been such a fun and useful toy for her, and I would definitely purchase it again!

This item is well-sewn, colorful, and cute. I bought this item for my brother-in-law who had been diagnosed with dementia several years ago. At this time in the progression of his dementia, he can buckle up the straps and zips open and close the zipper in the back. We need to, however, unbuckle the straps. Cognitively, I think he isn't aware that he can unbuckle them; but, maybe he thinks: Why should he? Perhaps, when he sees the straps unattached and dangling, he then needs to buckle them up so that it is neat and put together. The item is soft and squishy as he cuddles with the penguin and likes to squeeze it with his hands. He also spends time looking into the very cute face of the penguin.

LOVE this toy, it's a great learning & fine motor skill toy for toddlers. Not to mention their favorite thing is to buckle things. This keeps my toddler busy for a good amount of time to get things done around the house

Bought for a 1 /2 yr old and it is adorable! She loves to buckle herself in to her high chair, so this keeps her busy buckling and unbuckling for fun! Builds her buckling skills too!

This product is great. The quality of the stuffed animal is nice and the buckles are excellent. My 18 month old loves it and plays with it for several minutes at a time. She always comes back to it. I thought it was a little pricey when I bought it, but ended up being very impressed with it - it’s a present that will be loved and used for a long time. My 5 year old likes it too! I’d definitely recommend and will buy it for others birthdays!

I ordered this toy for my 19 month old daughter after I noticed that she was very interested in buckles. It is a little pricey, but for me it was worth it because it is safer and more convenient for her to play with this than it is for her to play with the buckles in her booster seat, swing, car seat, etc.She really loves it so far. She can put some of the buckles together but still needs help unbuckling them. But it keeps her interest for awhile and I'm glad she hasn't mastered it yet, or it might not hold her attention for so long. I have been giving her the doll in the car to keep her occupied and I've noticed that the buckles keep her so busy that she doesn't take her shoes and socks off while I'm driving!The only problem I had is that after we had the toy for only a few days, one of the buckles came unattached from the strap. I contacted the company (even though I ordered the toy on amazon) and they responded very quickly, sending me a paid address label so I could return the broken doll and they sent me a new one to replace it. So I was very pleased with their customer service. I hope that was just a fluke and that we don't have a similar problem with the replacement doll, as it could present a choking hazard if the plastic buckle comes unattached easily.Otherwise, it's a great idea and a really cute doll!
