Great item for warming items

After nearly 14 years my old Tefal actifry bit the dust and I was guttedI was told get an airfry with two draws (it wasnt a Tefal)Steak and chips were first on the menuThe steak was very nice but the chips were half under cooked and half overdoneThat made my mind up I have today just received my new Tefal ActifryAs soon as it was delivered I rinsed the pan and in went the chipsThey were beautifullydone to perfection and tasted greatThis new product has a snacking basket which I intend to try out soonCasseroles and currys nextA great productWell recommended

I just don't get all the hype about air fryers being able to cook everything from mac cheese to pizza. The clue is in the name - FRYER! I had this type of fryer many years ago when they first came out and absolutely loved it. It was bought mainly to make chips/roast potatoes. By the time it broke the only type available seemed to be the drawer type, which we tried but was useless so I was really glad to find this type still available. It makes the best chips, using frozen oven chips and a spoonful of oil. You'd swear they were deep fried, honestly.

Looks smart but it’s not good quality. The paddle that turns ingredients looks flimsy and the pan isn’t as solid as the original version. The timer is great as it turns off when it reaches its time BUT the ringer cannot be heard unless you’re stood right by it. The old version has a removable timer so you can take it with you. I’ve only cooked sausage and chips in it up to now and I can say the results were very good. It’s fairly easy to clean and you can download a recipes app. Prefer the original, don’t think this one will last long.

Great airfryer actifry is the best! The snacking tray is a good addition too we have the original actifry too and it always was annoying that certain things couldn't go in and turn, there's no temp control but you really don't need it things cook evenly because of the rotation of the tray or the paddle, seriously the best chips come outta this thing, every time!

If, as most people have said on here that's it the best airfryer, then why is it no longer available? I have had 2 of these and can't find anything better for doing chips. Please bring it back

Machine is used one. It's top tray is also rusted.

Great acti fry.Easy to set up and use.Love the extra basket you get for double cooking. Very useful.Food cooks well.Easy to clean. Love it!!!!
