Whitmor 18 Pair Over the Door Shoe Rack

I use this to hold my scarfs and hat instead of shoes; it works great and looks beautiful! set up was easy, took like 10 mins; very nice product. great space saver

No problem with seller but product has a design flaw. The only way it stays attached to a door or wall is by two rubber caps which hold the support posts to the brackets. This just does not work. Had to drill & put two screws in the support posts to hold it securely. Also, this product is also only made for woman's/small shoes. Would not fit mens and bends easily when loaded. Would not buy again.

Amazing space saver! I have my whole collection of shoes on this rack. I love the convenience and space saving.

So this rack was simple and easy to assemble but my shoes keep breaking it when I put them on the rack. Its like they are to heavy but there are just typical sneakers. Maybe this is better for heals or girls flats but sneakers, bike shoes, etc are a little heavy for it

It does it's job, but it should've been made better.There are two issues:1) The racks can't handle much weight. If too many shoes are on it, they come out of the holes and fall forward. We came up with a simple solution using zip ties (see pictures) and it fixed the problem, but I shouldn't of had to come up with a solution in the first place.2) The shoe holders are too close. Technically speaking it should be able to have 3 pairs per row with 6 rows, therefore 18 pairs of shoes. Won't happen. Two pairs max on each row, maybe three if you have a extremely small slipper or something. This could've been resolved with just a little more room.

Great rack that holds a sufficient amount of shoes. Very simple to put together. It is rather light weight, so not sure I would use this in a kids closet. I don't think it would hold up as well.

THIS ITEM NEEDS TO BE REMOVED. WHEN YOU PUT YOUR SHOES ON THE RACK THE ENTIRE ROW THAT HOLDS THE SHOES FALLS OFF. THIS ITEM NEEDS TO BE MADE "ALL IN ONE" AND NOT JUST HOOK EACH ROW ON. IF THE ENTIRE UNIT WAS ALL IN ONE THEN IT WOULD BE A GREAT ITEM, JUST WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. AS IS, IT IS NOT WORTH ANYTHING. PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF ANYONE KNOWS WHERE I CAN GET AN "ALL IN ONE OVER THE DOOR SHOE RACK WITH THE INDIVIDUAL SHOE HOLDERS", NOT BARS THAT YOUR SHOES FALL OFF OF. NANCY

This was so nice It was incredibly easy to assemble and I am not good at assembly... have to watch when you put shoes on it however because the bracket have a tenancy to slip out if you really push your shoes down on it. other than that it is a great product holds my shoes nicely and makes our space look great

this shoe rack was just what I wanted and very easy to put together and install.

I made the rookie mistake of not reading the comments on this. I was more concerned with trying to fit more shoes on the rack, as most of the 'pouch' styles only fit 12 and this fits 18 pairs. However this all comes at a price. first of all the metal rails are way too close together (and it's not like I have humongous feet - I'm 9.5) so realistically you won't fit 3 pairs on each shelf as the photo proports. also, if you have any kind of heel, they will not fit between door and the rail itself, so ultimately your shoes beging to life the rack away from the door. Thus making the point of this 'slim-profile' against the door, quite useless, since now my shoes are pointing almost right away from the door. If you think you're clever enough to bend the rods back so the shoe sits 'flat' against the door, you'll be pleasantly surprised to discover that the entire shelf pops out and ultimately falls off the rack. Since the entire thing ships in pieces.So for unless you own only flipflops or tiny kids shoes, Do NOT consider this. Completely useless if you have heels or chunky shoes. I wish I could return it, but of course since it's open I can't. Please learn from my mistake and avoid buying this.

These work pretty well for the $$$. I found that hanging them wasn't secure enough the kept moving as we walked by. (they are on the wall of a mud room so there is lots of traffic and not much space) so I needed to secure them to the wall with Zap straps and a coupe of screws.

Arrived on-time and in good condition. It's a bit cheap in construction but it does serve it's purpose. The racks themselves are a bit close together so while it's fine for my size 5 shoes, I can only fill it about half full with my husbands' size 12. Generally serves it's purpose though.

What a waste of money... very flimsy and keep falling off.It can't handle all the shoes weight like ... am I supposed to put only one pair of shoes for each row?Anyway, the biggest regret ever not to return it in time.Over two years now but still have no idea how to throw it away.
