Writes like a dream and with the converter (bought separately) it fills with ink and doesn’t leak. Yes the plastic outer is light but still very robust and perfect. It joins my huge collection of cross and other fountain pens.

As expected, very smooth and good ink pen for all. It would have boon better if we don’t compare this model with mid and high-end fountain pen, with this price point it’s recommended. Additional information to be noted, only one ink cartridge included in the box.

Cross is a make you can’t go wrong with. Writes smooth, good ink flow. Nice colour and glossy feel. Didn’t get the 2 cartridges, as seems to be the norm though!

Poor. Nib clogs so it scratches. I had to stop using it after 2 days

Pen is really nice to write with. Writes like an expensive pen without the cost. Worth the money. Unfortunately like all pens they get lost, will buy again soon.

Light and comfortable to hold. Writes nicely. Did not withstand daily extensive use. Nib gave up the ghost after a couple of months. Much better paying for the metal ones

This is a really great fountain pen at any price, and an exceptional value at its price point. It feels well-constructed with a solid medium nib (other options are also available) and great ink flow. The pen feels good in the hand both by itself and with the cap posted. I'm not sure whether it is a design feature or a happy accident on my particular nib, but the tip is slightly curved forward (see photo), lining up perfectly with the centerline of the pen and giving very precise tactile feedback while writing. I cannot imagine any improvement that would make this pen better. I definitely recommend it very highlly.

Very nice pen for a casual user. I am a male with average to large hands and it fits my hand just fine.

Der Cross Bailey Light Füllfederhalter mit der Federstärke F hat ein feines Schriftbild und eine angenehme Haptik, die ein entspanntes Schreiben ermöglicht. Er erfüllt seinen Zweck und lässt sich gut mit dem Steckkonverter 8751 der gleichen Marke ergänzen und mit Tinte nach Wahl befüllen.

Looks good and writes smoothly. The only negative is the restriction to propriarity cartridges. Although cheap Jinhao ink converters fit it when it comes to the size of the opening 3.4mm and it's way more robust than the corresponding proprietary cross converter!
